Pedro- Well done with your super weightloss, you must be really pleased! What have you been doing to lose weight? Your debt nusting is going very well too i see. :T

Cheers! Just doing a lot of running, and watching the calories (although tonight has been a washout! :rotfl:). I'm running my first race in Manchester on Sunday, so I'm a bit nervous!

Yeah I'm really bad with paperwork, I had it all stuffed in boxes from uni and I hadn't touched the boxes since my move up north nearly three years ago. Everything else was just piled around the flat so I REALLY needed to sort it out, SOOOOOO glad that I did. Anyone know how to upload pictures onto here?

As I found out with a housemate I lived with for three and a half years, if you store paperwork in the garage, the ink fades and it becomes piles of useless paper. It was damp and gross in there though, and when I finally moved out and we cleared his student notes (doctor) most of them were illegible due to the paper decaying and ink fading etc.

Although I hate hoarding, I also hate tidying. Catch 22 or what.

    psychopathbabble the cake looks great,

Pedro good luck for the race

Jake's mum, bad news on the payslip but well done on the iPad

Well had a mini treat last night. We went out for a friends birthday for a robbie tribute concert. £15 meal included. We bought one bottle of wine between 8 which was £10

Luckily we had for seen this so we all brought the friend presents of bottles of wine. So every time one got finished it vanished under the table and was promptly replaced. So all in all £25 with the wine I bought to contribute!

Stumbled in at 1 and still not fully rejoined the land of the living! However just what I needed with all the family stuff and my mini celebration for getting to the last £2,000 to pay off!

Right off to crawl downstairs for more coffee!
  • Big shopping day today, went and got the kids uniforms for September. Not too hideous though as had a £100 M&S voucher, which took the sting out of it and paid for blazers and jumpers for both DS's, pinnies, tights, shorts and polos for DD. Have sadly had to add £100 to the Next card for other bits -trousers and shirts as had another £100 of shopping vouchers -only clothes place can use them here is BHS so went to have a look at their uniforms and they were awful! Shirts were all on hangers, not in packets and had dirty marks, big brown water marks, lippy marks on collars and loose thread, wonky buttons. They used to be very good, but have really gone downhill. Gave up, came home and ordered the rest of it from Next, and will use the other vouchers in HMV or ToysRUs for Xmas instead. :rotfl:
