Grr to the bank holiday processing times! I NEVER go over my overdraft and i did by 54p so am hoping there's no charge. Just annoyed i didnt check my account last night & realise same day :( so many stupid things to buy this week and my ppal hasn't come through yet. Bad start to the day!

Yep this has happened to me too. I have got the letter template out ready to claim my charges back because I keep such a careful eye on it and its only when they have taken charges that i get stuck in the 'cycle' again :(
Makes me so angry that they took £56 this month when my total income is about £600, and half of that is going on rent atm. Beeetards! :rotfl:

    [QUOTE=kerri_dfw;53017875

I don't think I can afford to take £50 off my OD :( not until the £280 expenses come in. So will you all forgive me if I live on the £95 I have after bills from this expense bill, and I shall remove £300 from my OD when the £280 comes in :)[/QUOTE]

Ohhh i think we can let you off Kerri, but only if you have any biscuits left to share
Hi guys, nice to read all your posts this eve. I've just ventured onto some of the other MSE boards.... wow! There are some right nutters out there!

Think I will stay here where it's nice :):j

Haha I have heard things too from these guys about the savers board, I am yet to venture over there and see what the craic is:rotfl:

I have made £40 on fleabay but unfortunatly it can't go as overpayments as it has gone on Direct Debits (some of the dds are actually already overpayments so I guess its ok)

    Don't turn a slip up into a give up:D

    Hi Jakes-mum,

I know I'm probably a little late to the party on this one, but can I ask what 'the game' is? I've seen you refer to it so often I'd like to know if it's one I play myself, although in fairness I don't spend to buy items etc on free-to-play games like this one sounds.

*the game* is Seafight  bloomin hate it, costs me a darned fortune

Ok ladies who need to dust off your sewing machines, this cost me:
    £1.35 for purse frame
50p ish for the outer fabric used
    50p ish for the lining
    1hr total time spent
    picture
    instructions

It doesn't look like much having a look at their website. Then again, I used to be a Warcraft and Lord of the Rings Online player, so I don't normally look at that kind of stuff.

Noooooo! Dont look Super!! you'll be sucked in and never escape . It wasnt a bad game when I played myself, but at that point it really was a 'free' game, you could play without parting with real cash and the credit card players were fewer and stuck to the higher maps. Now it is impossible to play without paying hand over fist with all the upgrades they've introduced in the last 6 months. To show what its like, DH logged in yesterday to a great big banner proclaiming 'New bonus map!! all exciting, earn lots of pearls (SF currency that you can also part with real cash for), so great, so exciting! . . only . . . £89':eek: and there really are idiots who will have already popped their CC details in and bought it.

When I played I was in the same guild as the biggest CC player in the game, he was the top ranked player (unsurprisingly) as he would happily put £100+ on his ship every mega (triple pearls for your money days which come at least once a week) and bought every upgrade and ship design as they came out .

Ugh :( games like that make me sad. I'm currently playing Tribes Ascend which I refuse to pay a penny into as everything can be unlocked through xp from playing it. I also play League of Legends and just use the free skins from the weekly rotation champions and then unlock others with xp I earnt.

You'd all be proud that I cancelled my Star Wars The Old Republic sub this weekend just gone so I now pay no subscriptions for video games, now I just need to stop buying new ones. I have nothing pre ordered after Diablo 3 so thats it for a good long while I think.

I should see how many I own I can finish before Xmas :rotfl:
    HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000
    Halifax CC - £1032.77 / £1032.77
Mortgage currently at [STRIKE]£82,299.71[/STRIKE] £76,017.62 would love to overpay
