Jakes-mum it's like they're children! good for you for taking the card off him. Honestly, show me a woman who would spend that much on a game when there's debt to be paid :rotfl::rotfl:.

Ah yes he is my 3rd child . . shame I dont get any child benefit for him . . :rotfl:.

Ok someone tell me, is this really sneaky or an acceptable and neccessary bit of deception? As per previosu post, SOMEONE is £14 light on their repayment . . . so its still griping at me this morning, the whole again, ive got nowt thing, so when I went and took out all the back pay . . . well . . . I took and extra £14 in £1 coins and put them in my money box :o.

*whistles quietly in the corner* I should possibly not mention my ridiculous game collection and my ridiculous PC I built pre LBM of OH organising a meeting with a mortgage advisor.

I'll hasten to add my debt was small enough that I could pay it off in 2 pay cheques. so it wasn't that bad really but I have spent way too much on video games and comics over the years.:rotfl:

Loving your extreme couponing :D I get so jealous watching the americans on TV, have told DH if we ever go over the first thing I will be doing is obtaining coupons just to have a go :rotfl:

Dont suppose he's ever made noises to quit?

Yes me too, but I did in fact manage to get one item for free. I got £1 coupon for any flash product and found Tesco had Flash sprays for £1. :D They've realised their "mistake" now and the coupon is no longer available but I've still got one left :j I have to say I get really nervous at the till in case I get into an argument about them, but so far so good.

As for DH and the smoking he's been at it since he was 14 and he's 47 now, at least a pack a day. He really needs to quit as it's affecting this health now. He's sort of mentioned something about quitting at Easter but so far nothings happened and I can't ask him because, apparently, that's putting pressure on and he's a grown man who known what he's doing!!?!?!? We would be over £200 per month better off if only he would.

Er, well I obsessively check my current account every morning :o and round down the balance to the nearest £5 or £10 depending on how healthy it's looking. For example, if your balance is £143.50 you pay £3.50 to the debt, leaving a nice tidy £140 in your account.

I also check my credit card account every day (yes, I know, life required!) and it's so lovely seeing all those little credits!:D

Jakes-mum it's like they're children! good for you for taking the card off him. Honestly, show me a woman who would spend that much on a game when there's debt to be paid :rotfl::rotfl:.

As you can probably tell, I'm "working" from home today. I've just finished the initial stage of wording a new contract but have got down to the legal and regulatory bits. So off to take the dog for a walK!!

Ah, I thought I liked the sound of it...because I am actually doing similar myself anyway! I check my accounts, DH's account and the CC (the one we are paying off!!) and the spreadsheet every morning and try to make a payment. I had been trying to balance my total on here (hence a nice round 8250) but might try the bank account game for a change.

    Cheers :T
