Hi Missyg and everyone else! - Next on my Agenda is tackling the pantry. It had all been emptied out on one side on Friday as we had a new boiler fitted, so now all the brickdust has been cleaned up I need to tackle the other side where I keep food etc, Im sure there's a few things lurking in there, past their use by date, and looking through it all might give me a few new ideas for meal plans?
Now Im off to check out freecycle, I usually e bay most things (I have 4 auctions ending tomorrow and another 4 on Wednesday) but have a couple of largeish items which aren't worth ebaying and may be some use to someone?

    Natlou x

P.S - Missyg - your siggy is really inspiring!

No response from freecycle (I think I forget sometimes that other folk have a 'life'...............lol)
Have rung ex foster girl..............she says her sister will be thrilled with anything. Just lost her part time job at the post office due to it closing down so needs something to boost the income a bit more.
OH now back from the pub so I've told him that tomorrow I shall walk from room to room with a box and randomly fill it up...............he nodded his head to that so I've got the green light !!!

Oh well, if he takes one set thats a bit out of the way....................lol Half an hour he said..........oh eck.........forgot to check what time he phoned.........shall be on tenderhooks now till he's been and gone............lol Does everyone get like this ???

Well, chappie has been and collected them and even took one that was a bit 'iffy' (thinks he can use it for spares or something. OH helped him load up and when he'd gone we noticed he'd left one of the good ones behind...........so he'll more than likely be back for it. I'll e mail him anyway.
So, thats a bit more space........................lol
Hope your stuff goes Viv..........awful when you're waiting and its hanging about I think.

I have been inspired by this thread and it has been great to read your posts.:)

I have got a long way to go with my decluttering, but have listed quite a bit on ebay and made £65 so far, so am pleased with that :D

Also, I have finally started tackling the boxes of stuff in the garage which were from my Mum's flat when we cleared it. I'd shied away from sorting those for far too long. Some of it has been ebayed, some to the charity shop and some freecycled. So I think I am making progress ;)

The attic is going to be tough going I reckon, but it has to be done!

    Evening all!

Wow - am shattered! Was out early this morning as first port of call was shopping for a new sofa, all done and dusted by 10.30am, so came home and started the frenzied cleaning session with the iPod on loud. Another couple of things gathered for the car boot sale and stuck in the loft.

The cleaning session must have gone well anyway as the house is really sparkly at the moment, but im still not finished yet - oh no! While we were out this morning the carpet washer was an attempted delivery so I have rearranged it for delivery on Tueday so I can go round the flat on my day off (Wednesday - Riverford delivery due and OH at work all day :) Fab!) and have organised Tesco online shopping for delivery tomorrow morning after I arrive home from visiting the tip and a quick jaunt in to Ikea for new mugs. I still have to organise my hard drive properly and then investigate getting wireless in the flat. And about a billion other jobs that spring to mind (like getting wax out of the carpet - eek!)

After that, im giving up on the cleaning for the weekend - I look a complete state so im going to give myself some dejunking, I need a good scrubbing myself! And then its back to w**k on Monday....
