Pigpen, slow down a bit! :rotfl: We can't keep up! I'd Freecycle the buggy unless it's in REALLY good condition, if you get a fussy Mum you don't want to deal with it being "not as expected". Local collection only on ebay could work though?

Tattycath, from 20 Feb as I understand it, listing fees will be cheaper but final value fees will be more - and by my calculations we will be worse off on all items that sell for more than a quid. If you're an "every penny counts" type like me, then you might want to get stuff listed soonish.

Miro, yes I'm doing 10-dayers starting from tomorrow evening, then I always keep the following Monday free so that I can concentrate on sending everything out.

I think I've got just under 50 items to list this time and it's a real mish-mash so the listings are going to take ages. I've just been prettying up my template a bit before I start :)

It's quite scary, I don't consider my house a cluttered one by any means and yet I could walk around in one evening and find 50 items to go, just like that.

LOL.. ebay it is then.. local pick up.. even if I only get £5 for it, it is £5 I wouldn't get on freecycle.. It hasn't been used much because it sets my RSI off as the handles are the wrong angle.. plus Tiddles presses on the foot rest which jams the wheels so it careers off at random angles.. she is a minx!! lol

ok.. what else can I fling??

    Can I sell the children?

Hi Melvis, look forward to hearing how you're getting on! Hope your ebaying goes well.

    Thank you.

I put 19 listings on yesterday and they already up to £22.47 and that's only bids on 4 things! 9 days to go so hopefully lots of money coming in :j

Bit slow going with the listings this afternoon, had some excitement as a friend has confided she is pregnant! Here we are talking about completing our families and she is just starting hers... aw!

Well done Dobs on your ebay success! I received an ebay purchase today too so you're not the only one buying ;) I had to move it pretty quick though so it didn't end up on the pile going out! :rotfl: Hope you're doing OK and getting some rest by the way?

Everyone seems to be doing better than expected with the ebaying, maybe we are being too conservative with our estimates (which is probably not a bad thing!) or maybe it's just a good time to list right now?

I have stayed away from this site for a few days..(except for a sneaky look lunchtime at work) so that I get off my backside in the evenings and get ride of stuff. And it has worked:j except for tonight:rolleyes:

Whilst dinner cooking I have cleared 2 kitchen drawers and one cupboard, whilst bath running I have almost finished clearing bathroom cupboard.

At this rate the place should be done by Xmas! but at least its a start.

Doesn't it feel good to get some space and order back.

PS. pigpen please feel free to drop in for a coffee anytime and to clear out my cupboards etc.:D

Hi Annie. Well done for managing to keep away. I have not managed to keep away for long. I did manage to tear myself away to cook pancakes last night. I managed to tear myself away tonight to finish cooking tea and I managed to sit and watch 'It pays to watch'. But here I am and OH is sat watching tv-But I have just run him a bath. I managed to list a few things today and to do a bit of work. Someone picked up one of my items this afternoon and left feedback tonight. So that's another small thing out of the way. Might have to go into work on saturday and get some photos done and some listings. fingers crossed. might have to change tack and try to find the most financially lucrative stuff first (if there is any).

Well done tattycath my OH is also in the bath!

I haven't got round to ebay listings yet and nothing in my kitchen worth listing so off to charity shop enroute to work Saturday.

I have informed the family that this sunday, after my hour in the garden, is clean up day.
everyone has agreed to take part and produce at least 1/2 a black bag of stuff to go. Hopefully some of it will be worth putting on ebay.

I have a light lunch ready to go and no one is getting dinner unless they come up with 1/2 a bag at least.

    Roll on summer.
I feel more like doing things then, when its cold and dark I just want to sit infront of the computer/open fire, tea in one hand mouse in the other under my throw:D

YIPPEE... I only have 6 things not paid for yet.. annoying 2 are the more expensive things.. ggrrrr .. it is weird though.. they all have great feedback which says they pay immediately.. yet they have taken 4 days so far.. really strange!!

I have £40 coming tomorrow for the phone I didn't need to list.. and I disposed of 2 SIM cards.. I've shredded a 4th bin of stuff.. actually I threw the papers at the children and they argued who was doing which piece lol.

The pink buggy is going on ebay.. I decided .. it is practically unused.. needs a scrub down.. but that can be done whenever.. I have a footmuff to list as well.. a really nice expensive terrainhaus one.. originally £100  .. no I paid £60!! It was the best one I could find for a prem baby born at the end of November!

I am trying to persuade myself to let my wrap sling go.. I'm not doing a very good job though!

I have also decided to make my fabric stash into childrens garments and sell those instead of the fabric on its own.. which never seems to shift! I have 4 tesco crates and 2 boxes to work through.. should keep me quiet for a while!

Right.. I am going to bed before I sling anything else.. ooh.. bin night.. best empty all the bins first! :D

    THROWday tomorrow :D

Hello everyone. Can I join? :j Been lurking for a couple of days. I can't believe I've missed this thread before  as I've been slooowly de-cluttering for the past 3 and a half years.:o . My youngest went to f-time school in September and one of my aims was for the house to be organised. This is almost done. Recently I've been toying with the idea of returning to work, but I think I've changed my mind in favour of staying at college till the end of this year and getting the house completely sorted out. I have mainly hot-spots left to tackle. Paperwork, some dvd's/cd's/video's and the attic.

I have a few bits of stuff in the boot of my car that I've been meaning to take to the recycling centre and then I discovered that my local one has shut down for a few weeks for alterations, and I've been putting off searching for the next nearest, but today I'm home all day whilst both kids are at school and this thread has inspired me to go search for it. I'll update later.
