Aaaaargh Pigpen, so this is where you are all lurking....
ok, ok i Know i should be flying, but just having a :coffee: and summoning up some courage to enter the kids bedrooms..
Love this thread......its so motivating!!:j
I dont think i have thrown anything out for the past 8 years since DD1 was born, but now we have 3 children, and very little space!
We are thinking about having our loft conververted into a bedroom for DD1 in the next year or two, but the though of having to clear it out fills me with dread!!
So.............having stumbled upon the thread, I am gonna feel mighty guilty if the loft is still in the same *full to bursting* condition this time next year...
So charity shops/ recycling/ freecycle / ebay here I come...........:p0 -
Earthmother, I have an almost new Graco travel cot (used once!) in the loft.... How much would you recommend i advertise mine for??
Bought when money was no object, and head was firmly in the sand....:o0 -
Little Miss Magic - Mine was a Hauck Winnie the Pooh one. It's in Argos half price at £35, so I asked £25 for it, unused, and could have sold it ten times over.
Also shifted the Strolli for £20 last night - so that's a total of £45 going into the summer holiday account this afternoon :j
Could have sold the cotbed too, but hubby answered the phone before engaging brain and told them it had already sold - he was thinking of the travel cot  , and they'd withheld their number so we couldn't call them back :doh:DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -

There are two 'yard sales' in my immediate local area this weekend, I don't remember ever seeing any around here before. Is this the new trend?
In this week: A dress, a jacket, a wii game
Out this week: A jacket, 10 ebay parcels
It was my birthday earlier this week and happily I only got money/vouchers, no clutterPeople know me well

I don't know about a new trend, but I've seen a couple around here too. I will admit I keep wondering whether to give one a go - I have loads more to shift than I'll ever get into the car for a carboot, so doing it at home seems an easier option.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -

If I had a front garden I'd certainly consider it. Part of me wants to find one near to me but the FlyLady type fairy in my head says No Way!!0 -
