Well one box of DVDs sneakily packed up to put in boot of car tonight when OH is out to take to the other house (have spaced the remaining ones out so he doesn't notice
)
Have also found another stash of CDs which I have loaded into iTunes for OH and packed away!
Only managed to find two old paint trays to ditch in the garage :sad:
Am planning to get into the loft later when OH goes out tonightThanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

I think I might have finally cracked my packrat tendencies. I'm decluttering, cleaning and washing like mad during the day and putting together and researching my Control Journal at night. Every day the house is feeling more energetic and less fusty. I actually lost count of the number of times I put the washing machine on today. I hand washed some net curtains ready for the charity shop and did several loads in the machine including some pillows which have come up well.
I'm filling up boxes for the charity shop and bags of rubbish with ease stillbut it's all good I suppose. In the front room I can see parts of the sofas and in the spare room there are properly clean and line dried linens on the bed and you can get to the bed without doing yourself an injury on the messy floor which I certainly couldn't before.
:j
To a Born Organised person (can you tell I've been reading a lot of FlyLady lately) that still sounds awful but to me it's nothing short of miraculous!

Got home last night and OH has sorted out his clothes he'll never wear/stuff that's too big etc. I have been through a small part of my wardrobe.
Got a big bagful of clothes for charity shop - which I plan to dispose of in my lunch hour. Including a ball gown from ebay where they lied about the condition :rolleyes:
Same amount of clothes again is sat in a pile for ebay (mostly OH's clothes).
So my t-shirt drawer is now much more spacious - instead of being crammed full. Have lots more that can go though - that was just the initial half hour sweep (and only half of one drawer - out of 3!!).
Looking at the half empty t-shirt drawer, I'm quite enjoying the thought of making lots more space (although I'm a clutterbug and the thought of getting rid of stuff scares me a little too).working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Bag out for charity collection- old curtains, scarves I wouldn't wear (not sure why I have them) and two pairs of trousers I have finally accepted I will never wear again.0

Argh!! It's all going in the wrong direction!! :eek:
Nothing out yet this week - but my hall is full (literally - can barely squeeze the buggy through the door) of cardboard boxes - 5 full of flatpack furniture for eldest's room (Dad coming to help me with that lot on Sunday :A ), 4 from Boots (nappy bulk delivery - what was I thinking?! Oh yes, I remember - bogof and over £35 worth of points
) and 10 (plus three crates) for the tabletop at the weekend - methinks I need two tables, lol.
But, on the plus side, with a little luck, the bulk of it will be gone by Sunday evening:dance: . And I've already sold the travel cot that went into today's local paper - just got the cotbed, ton of bedding, play table, car trailer & strolli-rider to go :rolleyes:DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
