I took those curtains and nets that I've been washing to the charity shop yesterday. I swear I had a spring in my step when I left. Why I didn't do this earlier I shall never know! Best friend Mogkat is on her way over as she's our lift to the tip with the 4 monitors, 1 printer and those 2 ancient TVs and possibly rusting in the garden, albeit neatly :D, broken microwave. Couldn't bring myself to lump the TVs on the pavement and wait for a passer by to have it away with them. :o

I've just had a go with my neti pot to get rid of a nasty sinus headache threatening to be a migraine and that seems to have cleared it so there's no excuses this afternoon. I've got more to put into charity shop piles later and have had a good sweep and bang of the doormat. Still lots to be done!

Haven't updated on here for a while!

Was off work on Wednesday so OH helped me sort out upstairs.

OUT: 3 bags of rubbish, an old ripped dog bed, nest of tables, old tv and stand.

We now have a spotless (our) bedroom and spare bedroom, ready for my friends son staying over on Saturday night. The other spare room is still home to lots of OH's friends stuff but he's now moved into his new place and we've told him all his boxes have to be gone asap and at least for now we've managed to make it look a lot neater! :D

It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders being able to go in my bedroom or the spare bedrooms and not feel the need to scream! I think OH realised how much it was winding me up hence him helping! He's also going to sort out the shed and make room to move all his computer stuff (8 towers, 5 monitors and lord knows what else) from the spare bedroom/current storage room :p

:eek::eek: I've just logged into my ebay account to see how some things I was watching were doing and just nearly fell off my chair - I have 3 Sega "cheat" books listed and there appears to be a bidding war going on ATM with 4days to go :D £20.29 so far and I started them at £4.99 (they cost me £20.35 from Amazon 2 years ago) :D:D :j:j DD will be happy - I've promised she can have any money made from her stuff, think I'll get her to sit down with me tomorrow and sort out what we have made and spent in fees etc to see if we're breaking even yet :o She likes maths ;)

I think you and I married twins - right now I am looking at 3, no 4 printers, two towers, 3 screens, an Xbox and speakers, scanner and more !!!! than I even know what to call it - the room I am in by the way is supposed to be a study/home office.

PS - it is the boxes and boxes of cables that drive me crazy and of course I cant throw anything out because I have no idea of its worth - upstairs we must have 10 boxes of nerdie !!!!!! and DH doesnt do throwing out

Must just share that today I cleared out closet in our hall - pulled out 7 coats ( it is not a big closet) and loads of other rubbish as well as £20 in bagged coins that I must have put there to take to bank and forgotten about!!

Also went to dump with a full car load - does anyone else find that excursion wonderfully theraputic!

Now my garden is full of weeds but at least the yard and drive at tidy - Dh has a totally wonderful clutter management system - file everything at your ar@e! because the maid (me) will put it away and then you can run around like a headless chicken complaining that no-one leaves your stuff alone!!!!

Afternoon All,

Nicki - way to go on the Ebay books! :)

Had a bad week on the decluttering front I'm afraid. :o

OUT:
Half a carrier of old crayons, felt tips, etc

IN:
Nothing :T

EBAY:
£5.55 bid on 1 item, 2 items no bids :( but 44 watchers in total.
Oddly it's the item I didn't expect to sell that has the bids!
 Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.
