Sorry about the bad news spendless. Hope everything goes ok.
Took bag of clothes to charity shop last week. Discovered the smaller charity shops are nicer when you donate stuff (one shop really didn't care when I brought stuff in and it put me off donating). Decided to take stuff into whatever charity shop I last bought from - seems only fair
Also cleared out some other bits (donated them to my sister). Sorted out my t-shirts and bought 3 cheap v-neck primark t-shirts to replace some of the ones that were looking scraggy.
Sold one more item on ebay - pair of boots that cripple me as they are too high. Other stuff didn't sell though
Got a pile of clothes to go on ebay and must start sorting out all the rest of my clothes to charity/ebay. Also got cd's and paperwork to sort out.... best get off me butt thenworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Morning Guys..
Hugs to Spendless - thinking of you x
Well spent a good part of the weekend in the loft, have tons and tons of stuff up there which i had totally forgotten about.... most can be freecycled (big things) but have brought down about 7 bin bags of girls clothes that can be ebayed, had to sort all the summer from the winter etc......and now I have a bedroom that resembles some sort of jumble sale !!!
I am going to aim to list 100 items on ebay this week.... I always set myself higher goals, knowing full well that i only ever achieve 50%. So 50 items on ebay this week will make me a very happy bunny.:D
So, washer on, ironing board out, camera, pen and paper at the ready....
Wish me luck!!!0 -
Good luck this week everyone!
Now that I've got rid of the last bit of stuff on ebay, I'm as "finished" as I'll ever be with my sorting out. There will always be a few bits in and out, but nothing on a grand scale
I'd really like to thank you lot because this thread gave me focus to knuckle down on some jobs which wouldn't have been done otherwise. My "great photo sort out" was the worst one, followed closely by clearing the loft! (And I do mean clearing - it's empty!) It's fantastic having just a minimal amount of stuff, so do keep going everyone - it's so worth it!
There probably isn't much point me still writing all my ins and outs - it's small fry now and I want get out of "flinging" mode and devote my energies to other things, but I'll still be reading this thread and popping in to see what's happening!
Keep it up folks!0 -
Missyg.. you are a great inspiration to us all and show us there IS light at the end of the declutter.. I am struggling to see it myself at the moment my house is just half building site and half shed!!
