Oh and another thing : if you are missing catergories I found this to work for me :
    "Try this for category problem:

Press these 4 keys at the same time: CTRL, ALT, SHIFT, "R"

Click 'Ok' in the do nothing message box.

Primrose, my O.H sounds exactly like yours, everything is kept because it might come in handy. He has only recently stopped cutting the plugs off of everything we were throwing out as i managed to convince him that everything comes with a fitted plug nowadays.
I find it really hard to get motivated as it is such a big job, I have 3 decent sized cupboards in my hallway, all full of junk, 2 cupboards in the bedrooms, kids one is full of their toys but master bedroom again, full of junk. Shed has no space for gardening equipment as that is full too.
I am at my wits end. Have started pulling one thing at a time out to try and either freecycle or e-bay it but theres just so much

My DH still cuts the plugs off, but I just wait until he goes to work, then bin them :D

Pigpen you're a whirlwind! I'm gonna put mine on at about 8pm.

Can't wait to get this stuff out of the way, I have the whole selling shelf's worth and a bit more, plus another five boxes - 66 items in total. It will really make a difference in my office (assuming most of it does actually sell).

Walked a bag of son's clothes to the textile bank this morning. Recycling is now all done and the shed (where I save my recycling) is nice and clear!

Chest of drawers all cleaned up, put on Freecycle once more with a photo this time but still no takers! It will be on the drive with a sign this weekend if weather is dry. I bet some of you are wondering why it hasn't gone to the tip already :rotfl: but having got this far with no "tip runs" at all, it'd be such a shame to spoil that.

Listings upload went smoothly yesterday, 66 items on now and £26 in bids, early days for half of it though. Good luck Pigpen & Nicki and anyone else with stuff on.
