Tattycath how did you get on with your items ending yesterday? I've got a batch ending tonight. My current running total is £64 so I may get up towards the magic £100 by this time next week.
So quiet on here yesterday Pigpen, do you think we have scared the others away?
I looked my selling stats up on goofbay and while the amounts are really good, only just over 50% of my stuff is actually selling. I wonder if that is about normal for general household 'junk'?0 -
I think we may have.. that or they were busy doing something and we are lazy lol.. Those baby clothes could have been rehomed hundreds of times over.. I did get a lovely email from the lady who took the bags of girls things saying thank you and how nice they are which I thought was lovely.. That short message took seconds to type but it meant a great deal to me..
It is so nice to know it is appreciated.
I sold another thing on ebay this morning.. now down to 82 things listed.. 9 have bids of £14.70.. and £29.50 banked in paypal already..
I usually find about half the stuff sells! I did ince have 15 things listed thoguh and 11 sold which was fabulousLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
A-ha Missy, my turn to stalk you!
Hi everyone, I am so in need of this thread!! I have a houseful of stuff plus the top part of a double garage at my parents
:o The stuff at my parents was put there when they moved while I was on my gap year, and things have just been added to it over the years. I desperately want to get rid of lots of it but find it very difficult (I don't have much energy) so I'm hoping this will inspire me to get to grips with it. Look forward to learning how it's done!

Thanks Pigpen, I'm a Freecycle mod so happy with that; just sold a couple of things on Ebay but need to keep at it - no bids on my current 2 offerings...The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Bails welcome welcome!
I didn't know you were a mod on Freecycle, I bet you have some good stories from that!
All we really do on this thread is report what we've done and what we're doing next - and give each other ebay updates of courseIt does work though, I've got around to lots of things that were always "on the backburner" before.
9 of 14 items ending today have bids so that's a bit better than my 50% rate today at least!0
