  • missyg, I put in my post that not only could I not deliver but that I would only be available for it to be picked up on a specific date. I also listed a full and frank description of the items.

My fat-bird sense is telling me that the bloke who wanted it all was a bit of a prat :rotfl:

Earthmother, those plastic boxes aren't in East Yorkshire are they? I could do with some of those :D

That's even better - stating a specific date for collection, I might give that a go too for the stuff that's likely to be popular :D Thanks. I hope you have better luck with Freecycle from now on, please don't let it put you off.

I like hearing about people's Freecycle experiences, I know it's not nice to be messed about but some of the stories are quite jaw dropping.

I had a reply once from a guy pretty much telling me his whole life story and why he deserved a particular item, it would have filled about a page of A4

Did you give it to someone else just because he was a twit?

    lol Pigpen :rotfl:

You're doing a lot better than me, I've got lots of stuff together but haven't done pics, listings or anything yet. It's going to take ages

36 things on at the moment, 8 with bids totalling £9.30. Hoping for £50 at the end. Anybody else got any updates?

Suppose I'd better get started... 7pm now... let's see how much I can do in an hour.
