£37 isn't measly, us MSE's can do a lot with that sort of money! Even a fiver is better than having items we don't use/want/need around the house!
Viv your camper is GORGE! *drools* Thank you for sharing the pics!0 -
Well, my ebaying is a steady tenner or so a week at the moment. Just listed some more cds yesterday-and 3 that were listed sold yesterday so that's another £15.00 (less fees etc).
Kids are tidying a bedroom today-again. so I've sent a binliner up. We have moved a chest of drawers in the loft. The saga of the decorating of one of the bedrooms continues...
But my pantry is almost finished!!! it's been painted and re-floored and OH has put some vinyl tiles down. Just need to cut some shelving down to fit-then I can start filling it up and hopefully make some space in my tiny kitchen!!!
Well done to everybody with their decluttering-I've just got rid of a carrier bag full of rubbish out of my bedroom today and I've hardly started yet!!!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Still to be claimed: mugs;glasses; crockery set, slow cooker
Am trying to be ruthless so I'm sure theres more I can get rid ofWe don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -
You can get a Marks and Spencer voucher, worth £5, if you take a bag of unwanted clothes into M&S.
The Conditions are: your unwanted clothes must include at least one M&S garment;
and
you have to spend £35 or over to use your voucher;
Worth considering.
(As long as you don't buy some more clutter!)0 -
Got 11 items ending tonight on ebay, it's not looking that great unfortunately, but I suppose the last bits are always going to be a challenge!
Whatever doesn't sell will be a charity shop job now, no more relistings.
I have dug out 4 more items of clothing to list tonight.0 -
Well the gormless hubby didn't get out my bags of swag from the shed.. BUT.. on a plus note.. I have replaced all the childrens pillows and binned their old manky ones and replaced 1 of the nastiest duvets for a new on.. I do need to buy another 4 though so everyone can have a nice new clean duvet. I do do things like this periodically lol. £10 for 4 silentnight pillows and £6.99 for a single duvet was a reasonable price I thought. I'd have got a few more duvets but alas I was only born with 2 arms!
I also located a mountain of washing from about the house.
The cotbed is going on freecycle next.
I am going to brave the shed.. I will check in when I get back out.. so if I aren't back in 15 minutes come rescue me.. I may be stuck under a bouncy castle and swimming pool (12ft) and a steam cleaner.. industrial sized!! OR worse still 'they' might have got me.. you know those things that look at you fom the bushes and dark corners at night? The ones that tap on the windows and look at you through the dark glass.. that's it... I'm not going!!! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

I have just read the first page & last few pages of this thread & oyu have inspired me to get on with it!
I already have a list of things I want to e-bay (old baby bits) & some boxes to car boot (when it is nice) need to go to the loft. I also have some bits to go onto freecycle (I did the big pram & some baby clothes that I did not think would go at the car boot during the week).
I need to sort the toys as our youngest (just turned 1) has grown out of some. I also need to sort both girls clothes (youngest to sell/freecycle & the eldest to put in the loft)
I also want to go through all my clothes as I have a lot that doesn't fit & I seem to have so many socks!
We have said we will gradually go through the loft - but we said that in Jan & it is now almost April!
So thanks for encouraging me to get my backside into gear!

2 of those were putting my shoes on!!!
and my garden is huge.. took me ages to walk there and back!!
The stuff is now marinating in the WM's.. the 'few days' it would be stored in there turned to 2 years so it is a bit niffy.. after a jolly good washing and a day blowing in the wind and rain and hail it will smell divine!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
