We`ve been busy today, we now have 5 or 6 binbags of rubbish in the car ready for the tip, along with an old drawer, and 2 bits of plaster board.
We`re de-cluttering DD bedroom while she abroad - she`s home in 6weeks, but its become a dumping ground!lol
Just to paint the walls now and put a new blind up.

    Hi everyone

Well done on the dvd conversions Moneypooh - that's a time consuming job but great when all the VHS stuff, including the video recorder, can leave the house!

How's everyone's ebaying going? Everything on my selling shelf is now either listed or earmarked for charity shop and I have 43 active listings, current total £17.94 (early days for most of if though). Hoping for £50-£60 total as I don't think there's anything that will fetch more than a few quid and I bet half won't sell at all :p All my decent stuff has already gone :p

Nicki & Viv, please don't lose heart ladies! If some of the decisions are tough what about having a "maybe" box that you can hide things away in, and then go back in 6 months to see if you've even missed them? Sorry to hear some things are making you sad Nicky... I hope there are silver linings for you. I love living on my own with my little boy.

Earthmother :j productive day yesterday, enjoy your day off today!

I am going to go through my son's wardrobe today. He'll hate being made to try on stuff to see what still fits... might have to resort to bribery... haha.

We live in a mess and no matter how hard I try it doesn't seem to get any better :( We'll be moving at the end of the year so I really do need to get on top of it all...

I'm trying though....I've got two boxes of books at the end of the driveway to see if I can sell the ones that are saleable and give away the ones that aren't saleable.

I've just joined freecycle and I've put a couple of bits up, I've also got a pile of stuff to ebay but need to wait for OH to finish work as I'm not sure what some of the bits of computer/camera stuff are!

I've also just agreed to sell one of my quite large collection of tents...the chap is coming this pm so I need to go and heave the bags out of the pile!

Hi there Pitlanepiglet good luck with the selling.

You've reminded me about tents. I've gone from 3 to 2 tents, and I'm wondering if I can go down to 1. The two I have left are similar, but one is more hard wearing and nicer than the other, and the other is an "easy up" tent which goes up in 2 mins compared to about 25 mins!

I tend to use the more hard wearing one for my son to have sleepovers in the garden with his friends. The other one is the one we take when we're camping all over the place and the convenience is invaluable.

Of course I'd like a tent that was "easy up", nice looking AND hard wearing, but I can't justify buying a new tent in the near future. Don't like having two things where one would do the job though.

We have 2 tents, 3 awnings and a campervan.......and there is only 2 of us. Perhaps it is time to ebay some of it!!!!
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Viv what campervan do you have? Got any pics? :) That's what I want, someday, when I have somewhere to park it!

OK so I'm not the only one with extra tents - that makes me feel better!!! I'll just keep them both I think. They are both being used and that's the important thing.

Have done son's wardrobe, only a few old pyjamas to go and a couple more bits. One thing that's good enough for ebay so I'll list that later.

Does anyone know if you put clothes in the textile bank, do they have minimum condition requirements? Because these pyjamas are very old and worn and I have another well worn item which has a broken zip.
