Placed £100+ order 25th June with items 'In Stock' and expected delivery 3/5 days. I have since chased weekly and each time been told it will just be a few more days/ items on the way etc. I chased again today & I was told that they cannot fulfil my order and will process a refund 'ASAP' . What a scam - they took money on 25th June, no doubt refund will take a month so that's like a six week interest free loan for them!!!0

You have hit the nail on the head.
They take the money, on a promise to provide goods, but then they cannot supply them...so your money earns them interest ...that is how they purchased the warehouse in Birmingham.
A year of taking our money or more, I never received my money back. Just a hate email.
Let us know how and when you receive you refund. Try your bank as section 75 applies, or they can do a charge back.0 -
Do not use WAE+. I ordered from them on the 2nd of July and was given a date that the delivery would be at my home for, by the 8th of July. Nothing. Called them and was told to wait a few more working days. Nothing. Called them back (notice the pattern that I had to ring them, their service is ridiculous) and was told it would definitely be delivered to me on Friday 19th July. Phoned them today (again) and I'm being told it will be delivered to them by Friday 26th July. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.
I have reported them to Consumer Advice and Trading Standards. Have sent WAE+ a complaint, a rather nasty one, which will likely be ignored as they have a habit of ignoring their customers. To be honest, these guys seem like complete scammers. I feel sorry for their customer service staff, I really do.0 -

Throughout the thread...I have seen the same names popping up Vipal (the one who received response from management belittling me and ridiculing my disabilities) they accidentally or not cc'd me in.

Just FYI - I have now also complained to trading standards and forwarded the complaint to Watchdog as well.0

Hi All
Placed an order a couple of weeks ago for a new mobile (£145), sent them a message a day after my delivery was due asking when i would be receiving my purchase only to be told that it is now out of stock, but its still showing in stock on there website!!!!!
Cancelled my order online, but it was still showing in my account as stocking issues, so rang the 0121 number to cancel my order.
Spoke to Subrata, whom cancel my order and informed me that i would recieve a full refund within 2 working days :shocked: .
If i haven't received my refund by the 25/07/13, i shall be contacting CC company and Trading Standards.

By far and away the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to have dealings with. Same story as so many others. Daily enquiries since 2nd July when I cancelled the order and I still have no refund. This company previously traded as WeAreElectricals and were forced to shut down due to the very same practices that they are now employing. Why are they still trading?0

WAE appears to knowingly encourage purchases when they have no intention of supplying the product.
WAE prefabricates for weeks then when the order is cancelled they add insult to injury by retain your payment for up to a further 30 days!
My advice, never consider purchasing any products from this Company.0 -
Hope i can help anyone here get some money back. Ive just had an experience with them, after breaching the Sales and Goods Act 1979, as well as their own terms and conditions which they had the cheek to refer to me to. I threatened court action, numerous phone calls and nothing.
I finally got my refund after reading about someone else's experience in which they said they'd threatened with the fraud police (link below) I decided to do the same and got my refund NEXT DAY. So, if you are legally in the right, it seems they do not like the thought of the police checking them out. Hope this helps someone!
