RMA were !!!!!! with me too. But you have double trouble in the form of MBNA who are notorious for trying to wear people down with bullying tactics. With my situation RMA were lucky because my debt with AMEX was for a charge card, which I have since been told is not protected by the credit consumer act. Therefore I couldn't include it in my DMP. I would advise you - as Payplan advised me - not to ring RMA anymore and instead pass on your letters to CCCS (let them deal with it from now on). You should also tell them that you have not received your welcome pack, which isn't normal. Try to avoid entering into conversations with RMA or MBNA if they call you, just quote your CCCS number, tell them to contact them from now on, then say you are going to hang up. Best piece of advice I got.Hi everyone.
I have just called rma!! They said it was a card to say someone will call me not call on me!! I told them not to bother as they are well aware that I am starting a DMP with cccs and there is no money to pay them anything more!!
Its MBNA who are pushing them with this so I will phone them on Monday and tell them the same. They have had my letter and £5.00 token payment they are being !!!!!!!! I was told they would bully me but this is really kicking me when I am down.
Lonely... thanks for your concern it does help so much when you guys are here on the bad days.
I have not had my welcome pack yet from cccs and I am meant to be making my first payment next week, is this normal??

In the first post of this thread, we've all been given numbers.

CCCS cant help and payplan wont help as debts aren't high enough????
any other suggestions0 -
How high are your debts sparky, if you don't mind sharing (mine is loud and proud in my sig - no shame me:) )?
Perhaps the DIY route is the best one for oyu then, or why don't you pop a SOA (see first time posters thread for details, at the top of the board). Then we could see if we could help?
I think Kelly will sort out you joining! (I think?)

That's very odd...I don't understand why they would say that!!
I think your best bet now is to post you Statement of Affairs up and we'll have a look - perhaps do it in a new thread so that everyone can see - remember it's all anonymous!
