Please help. I don't know what to do anymore.
Payplan are currently dealing with a Debt Management Plan for me. However, I arranged to make my first payment more than a month after I got in touch with them, so I could build up a surplus fund of around £500 for business expenses, for which I am reimbursed so there was no easy way to include it in expenditure sheet. This was actually their suggestion.
However, with only a token payment made in the last 6 weeks, all my creditors are on my back, calling all the time, saying that my debt is increasing due to the added daily interest and late payment charges. To give you an idea, in two weeks I got £70 worth of interest and charges on my Lloyds TSB credit card!!! None of them can stop the interest until Payplan send them an offer, but Payplan say they cannot do that until they get my first payment. I feel sick - I am now not in a position to make that first payment until 1st April. At that point my debt could feasibly have gone up by more than £1000!!! With 50K worth of debt I cannot afford for this to carry on any longer.
What should I do? I am going to call Payplan now and beg them to get in touch before I make the payment on 1st April. But I have tried before and it didn't work. Why can't they make an offer before they get the payment?I'm moving on up now,

Lonely - poor you! Don't get too worried. Things do have a tendancy to go beserk with internet sites at the worst times, so it may just be a temp. glitch.
Bit of solidarity here though - CCCS wanted my first payment in March - well, I only got their welcome details on the 5th, no pay in my account until today (!), so obviously it wasn't going to happen. They were incredibly understanding and just arranged it so that my DMP was delayed by a month.
I paid my first payment today - all ready for April 1st.
If I could do it, I cannot see any reason why you can't, so DON'T PANIC!!!
Wish you all the best,

So have the CCCS made offers to your creditors before you have paid the money? That's really what the problem is. If they could contact the creditors, the ridiculously high charges would stop.I'm moving on up now,
