newlywed, I'm concerned about what's going to happen if you don't get paid tomorrow... will you be okay? Trying to keep smiling :rolleyes2 , I know it won't make it any better, but you never know.

Thanks for worrying about me. Have been paid!! Now have petrol. Will get gas, electric and food later today :D

Have had a phone call from GE as I didn't pay the full amount last month - paid two thirds but didn't have the rest - kept hoping i'd suddenly acquire £100 to sort it out . They rang home (didn't think they even had that number ) when I was in the bath so OH told them I couldn't come to the phone. Guess they'll be ringing again later on though. :o

Ho hum. Gonna have to face phone calls quicker than I thought. _pale_ _pale_

    Morning All

What a beautiful day here in the midlands.! The sun is shining and the birds are singing, (oh no I've turned into a complete lunatic overnight!!!!)

Any how just wanted to pop in and say hello!!:hello:

newlywed - don't worry about the calls just inform them firmly but politely that there is no more money, you are starting a dmp with CCCS and they will be in touch, refer them to CCCS and don't be pressured into offering anything more!

alfredsmum - Sea and joek are right, we are all in the same boat and will try to help if we can. I am on a dmp with CCCS and they are fantastic, :T
Creditors do seem to respect CCCS, and in my experince if you are with them it seems to give the creditors a bit of reassurance that they will get paid something even if it is a reduced amount.

Hello to everyone else and by the way .... WHERE IS EX????

    Have a great day everyone.

I do hope Neith comes back, why didn't anyone reply?

Neith - I have a number for RMA: 01772765000. Call them today and let them know it is not convenient for them to come round (don't go into ANY details, they will use it against you). Tell them they need to deal with you by phone in the first instance.

    teecee did reply.

Sorry but I haven't had that and so didn't reply as I didn't know what neith should do either. :o

That sounded like I was having a go - I wasn't. It's just that sometimes when I have posted and haven't had a reply, I do assume it's because people don't know the answer, but it would still be nice to get an acknowledgement and a virtual hug! How's it going Newlywed? What's the latest?

I think I'm going to change my name - I don't feel that lonely anymore. In fact I feel quite empowered! But if I change my name nobody will know me anymore. May just try to do a signature.

Don't worry, didn't think you were having a go. Realised you were worried about neith. There were other replies on the other thread though and neith said he/she was going to contact CCCS.

As for me, waiting for the CCCS pack to come in the post. Have been paid so have petrol and will be getting food/gas/electric later today.

Had a phone call from one of my cards where I only paid them two-thirds last month. But I was in the bath so OH told them I couldn't come to phone. Expecting them to ring again later on and send a nasty note on the bottom of my statement. :o

Thinking CCCS DMP will be the way to go as then I will have money for prescriptions, food, gas, electric etc every month. Will just need to speak to them about the car/bonus issue before I sign up.

OH being supportive but leaving it to me to decide, so not pushing anything. He wanted to read through all the pack you download so he knows what they are suggesting and what we should expect. He's had debts too and I've helped him sort payments on his - while getting myself into a much bigger mess than him!!

HI Lonely - I don't think it's because people don't care, I think sometimes they maybe new to MSE and don't realise that just because they don't have any advice, a hug is still a valid response.
I was really worried about neith last night but have no experience with DCA's.
The only thing I could suggest was to open up the question to the whole DFW forum so maybe someone could help who had more knowledge than me. I thinl this worked I have checked the thread and Neith is sounding much more positive now so will hopefully sort the problem.
