hi everyone,
congratulations yellowmonkey thats brilliant :T :j :T :j :T
hope you feel better soon franny0 -
Hi everyone :hello:
Haven't been on for a couple of days due to very late nights at school (I hate parents' evenings!) and been on a training course (so much petrol to cough up in advance - not good).
Anyway, just wanted to say a huge WELL DONE to yellowmonkey!!! :j I'm so pleased for you. I was realy worried when you said earlier that PayPlan couldn't accommodate you. Now you're on the road to being debt free. I know I'm only a few steps ahead of you, but I really think you've been through the worst. In the words of D:REAM (ha ha!) THINGS CAN ONLY GET BETTER :T :T :T
newlywed, I'm concerned about what's going to happen if you don't get paid tomorrow... will you be okay? Trying to keep smiling :rolleyes2 , I know it won't make it any better, but you never know.
Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly franny, get well soon _pale_
Not much news from me really, apart from all my money officially being paid into and out of my clean account from yesterday - yee haa!
However, just had a quote to get my car fixed... £130. And my service is due soon which will take it to £220, plus any other bits that need done to it. Really don't know where I'm meant to find the money
Hi to all the other regulars, hope you are all well.

So, had my phone interview on Monday with CCCS and all the bumf arrived yesterday. Am in the process of organising token payments and my first DMP payment should be on May 1st.
I only have £150 a month to pay back £18K so this is going to take about 10 years if all interest is stopped etc....at least I will now be spending my money and no longer robbing Peter to pay Paul etc.
Have cancelled all DD's etc but had the same problem as someone above has mentioned. I went into HSBC to cancel my standing order with them for the managed loan with them but they advised me I could not do this and that I could not close my account either. I have a zero balance with HSBC as I have switched accounts and the manager advised me that the standing orders will still be requested even though it will send my account overdrawn. This seemed madness to me but apparently it is the way it is done by most banks. I called my CCCS advisor who stated that if the account gets defaulted and charges get applied this can be added to the DMP as it is not new credit I have applied for and is a debt arising from how HSBC have defaulted my account. This has put my mind at rest.
Just going to try and relax now and wait for the letters to arrive( have changed phone number yesterday). At least I have took a forward step at long last.
Good luck everybody.0 -

That's brilliant news Teecee! It's my turn to quote Joek - I'm so chuffed (for you!) :T :T :T I think I've found Joek's title... the "Quotation King".
No idea how I'm going to pay the car stuff. Do you think I can go over my 10,000 miles before I get it serviced? I don't want to invalidate my warranty...? I'm such a clueless girl when it comes to cars!
Good luck Pan.
P.S. Course was good thanks Teecee, thanks for asking.Member #4 of the DMP Mutual Support Club - DFW Nerd #335

Loving joek's new title!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
Not sure about the warranty thing maybe you could give them a ring and ask, that way you can be sure.
I'm a useless girly about cars too, but I could have kissed the man at the garage today:D , it was all I could manage not to start wailing with relief when it passed. I was soooo sure it would fail.DEBTS @ 1/1/07 - £25,800:eek: DEBT @ 04/05/11 - NIL

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I have had two cards through the post today from RMA they have bought my amex and mbna accounts. They are aware I am starting a dmp and have the ref number. However these cards state that they are coming to my house on tuesday!!!
What do I do?? My elderly parents are here and my dad is very ill
