Well I have maxed all my credit. Have nothing left and meant to buy food today, so will have to borrow from OH's tax money. Have hardly any petrol left in the car, electric and gas only have about £3 left on them and I have nothing.

Hoping to get paid early (Friday) rather than Monday.

This is the worst it has been. I'm stuck in a corner and I can't bear to be like this any more.

There, I've finally admitted I'm stuck in a corner and I can't sort it out myself (even with all the advice on here) and I need help. :o

I've repeated the ads in my local paper to try and sell a few bits (free listing).

This weekend I'm going to see what else I have that I can put on ebay - some clothes and card making bits I know. Still at Mum and Dad's is boxes of books and CD's as well as more craft stuff. Haven't needed them in a year so time to sort it out and get rid/get some cash.

Yes I have. It recommends a DMP and says it could take 5½ years if they all stop interest.

Just my car is about to die and I have a bonus due and want to use that for a new car so we can get to work/pick kids up etc. Not sure if they will allow that and need to find out before I sign up - otherwise we are doubly stuffed :o

newlywed - you have already started to sort yourself out and get unstuck from the corner, just by facing your debts and realising you need help to sort them out, you have made a huge step forward.
It is an awful feeling to feel you have no way out!! (I know because that's exactly how i felt when i had my LBM)
But it is possible to sort it out. It's a long and scary journey but one you will face and eventually get through.

51/2 years is not such a long a lot time, and you couldn't possibly feel any worse than you already do.!!!!

Just filled in all the details so they send me more stuff about the DMP.

They don't contact creditors till I send all the account details and signed agreement back to them though do they?

Yeah the loan I was after, about 6 months ago, would have been for 5 years. But they said no anyway.
