I keep logging in to CCCS but nothing is showing yet, I can't wait to see the payments showing on my account, until then it just all seems so vague.
Not really sure of where I am with it all.

I have found since coming onto this site, i feel so much more in control, the thought of defaults,CCJ's debt collectors etc used to frighten the life out of me, but now i'm so much better informed and its all down to MSE.

Pre LBM, I was just sooo scared all the time deep down I knew Ihad to face it but I didn't know how and I'm feeling so much more positive now!

  • I have to echo that worry about what could happen when I default, though for me I have yet to default but I have signed my paperwork and payplan are starting the wheels in motion.

I know it's going to be hard, i'm hoping that the creditors accept the DMP, however what ever will be will be.

This site has at least helped me know that I'm not the only one, and for some reason it seems to lessen the crap I feel about the who thing.

It's also been motivational knowing so many never want to be in debt again.

I have a mortgage and I guarentee this, my mortgage will be my only debt I will gladly owe. I never ever want to have a loan for a car, 42 inch tele or for a holiday ever again.

I'm happy driving around in my little car, it has character and its cheap to run.

They say about 7 years for me to being debt free, if I can hurry that up I will, and I will save for any materialistic thing I ever want in my life from now on.

Thinking back an hour of happiness about having the latest gadget soon turned into a reality check knowing i'm paying the !!!!!!! thing off for years.

I found my appetite for those things I used to love has gone right out the window.

It's sad that it's had to get to the state I'm in to realise that I really didn't need that upmteenth iPod or latest DVD...

    Blimey, I've wised up!

    Hooray!

    Hi teecee,

Well, I haven't got the welcome pack from Citibank, but I received all my pin numbers!

Fat lot of good they are with any account numbers, but at least I know now I've got an account with them!

If they're anything like Citibank, there will be a number for new accounts on some of the paperwork you got - I'd just give 'em a bell to see.

It was nice and easy with Citibank (despite me not believing them!), and I'd imagine it'll probably be similar with Halifax. At least it will stop you wondering about it all the time (which is precisely what I did!).
