A dmp is a Debt management plan,
After working out your income and expenditure by following a specific budget, your creditors are then paid a pro rata proportion of your excess income.
Dmp's are usually managed by a third party ie CCCS or Payplan ( these companies do it for free) although you can do it yourself.DEBTS @ :idea: 1/1/07 - £25,800:eek: DEBT @ 04/05/11 - NIL

If they're anything like Citibank, there will be a number for new accounts on some of the paperwork you got - I'd just give 'em a bell to see.

When we first started the dmp it was the most worrying time i have ever been through, but it felt like a huge weight had been lifted once we got underway with it.
It was the best thing we have ever done.
