Just rang the LOVELY Abbey,NOT. How come they are all unfriendly and just rude at Abbey, it doesn't help matters!!
ANyway they are still claiming they haven't recieved any notification from CCCS,so called them AGAIN, and the lovely man said he would get them sent again!!He said that they don't send actual letters to Abbey its all electronic so they must have recieved it!!
Anyway the good news is that Burtons (GE Money) has accepted the reduced payments and will freeze interest and charges!! 3 down now and only 10 to go!
    xx

I had the same thing yesterday and the WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!! man at CCCS told me the same thing. They send paperwork electronically and it flags up if the mail is not received, he said a lot of companies do this but they probably just haven't opened the email!!! he said he would send mine again too and not to worry about it just keep sending my payments to CCCS and eventually they will get the message! (we live in hope!)

Well done getting acceptance from GE, youre nearly halfway there!!

I think the people who work in these places must have to take some kind of test to see if they are miserable/unhelpful enough to work there!! :D

Ooh that's good news about GE Kelly. You've given me hope. I have 2 accounts with them owing about £500 on each. There interest is outrageous.

Teecee you are very right. We should all chill a bit. Saying that I feel like taking the approach of harassing creditors. Ringing them every 5 minutes to see if they accepted yet. Let them see what it's like.

    Daysieblue, good news about NR.

Hunteress, who on earth are the funding co?

Neith, good luck with John Lewis.

I don't get my post until I get home from work at 3pm so it kind of hangs over me all day.

    Hi Everyone,

Well done on the ge one, I have one with them as well, then again I think I have one of everything - you have got to laugh or you will cry!!!

I have phoned John Lewis and they said they did not have my letter but when I said you did because I stapled a cheque to it and you have cashed that they meekly took the ref number from cccs and held the account for 3 weeks. I also told them to remove my telephone number from the record and they did no probs!!:D

Have any of you had dealings with MBNA?? That is one of the ones the man at cccs said were terrible bullies!

Post has been nothing awful, so feeling on top of it all a bit today.

Have a good rest of day everyone.

I have had my long phone call with payplan and I do feel so much better. I know it's not going to be easy, I have not defaulted yet though I'm now robbing Peter to pay Paul. I should have my letters to send out next week then the real fun (not looking forward to that) starts!

68K owed (and nothing to show for it apart from memories), hopefully debt free in 7 years.

Reading through some of the posts in this thread has helped me a lot, thanks.

    Hi Kelly

Have a good shop and make sure you get something lovely with your voucher!! don't feel gulty we all need atreat now and then and look how far you've come in a few short weeks.

I am an Avon rep, I don't knock doors or anything like that just sell to friends and family! it doesn't make me very much money but i find my commission usally pays for my own stuff - shampoo, conditioner,:hello: kids bubble bath etc so I find that its worth it. Saves me using food budget for this stuff and products are really good! Unless you really need to don't buy samples because if people order stuff and they don't like it or it's not what they expected they can send it back no problem even if they have used it, I've never bought any reps samples.
I haven't had any problems and i've been doing it for 3 1/2 years.

    Hope this helps!
Really must go and get some food now, i'm armed with my list and really must stick to it!!!!
    Have a good day
