Thanks Sea. Won't be for a while yet, the waiting list is huge.

I don't think I could afford to live in London, the north of England is bad enough!! Everything seems so much more expensive.

I second the ups and downs bit! One day it will all settle down and we'll have no supporting to do (or is that me in my little dream world again?!).

Anyway, I'm going to drive in through the rest of this work and get to bed. Sleep well everyone and thanks for cheering me up x

hi all had a very strange day today got a phone call from funding co operation at 9.00 was in bed as day off then opened post. 2 letters from funding co operation 1 that said we are writing to you due to concerns about numberous arrears on your account?(1st time in 3 years ive missed a payment).so called them got a quiet nice lady called brigit who said oh we have not receieved any paperwork. even though spoke to guy yesterday who confirmed they had recieved my letter. i questioned the phonecall and letters recieved today she was very nice and told me that letter was sent in error but you will still get phonecalls till we receieve an offer from cccs.i then rang argos who again claimed the hadnt got the letter? so told her what was happening she was quite nice too told me they couldnt freeze interest or charges till they had heard from cccs.next phonecall was from great universal cat so i explained everything again so she said well we havent not receieved the letter can you send me another copy. so i said fine will send it today note she is the only person who asked for another copy. oh and she put a note on my account so i wont get any charges for the next 7 days nice lady:D i think the others were trying it on saying they hadnt receieved the letters. rant over welome to bessy and neith.

    Hi Everyone,

Oh well another day, lets see what it brings?? I slept a bit last night but I wish i did not wake up in a cold sweat!!

I will phone john lewis today and tell them about cccs even though I sent the letter and they cashed the £5 i sent with it!!

On the subject of bank Accounts, I went to the abbey and got one opened there and then, was unaware they would credit check until she told it was fine!! She must be blind, I have been in the poo for months!!

Anyway they opened it and all the wages go in so at least stinky old nat west won't get there hands on it!! :T

I wonder if you have to be a certain type of person to work in these places??

I have noticed some of you doing marking last night, teachers i guess. I don't envy you the task my twins were bad enough!!

    Have a good day all.

    Good Morning Everyone

Hope you're all feeling well after the ups and downs of the last couple of days.

Had a letter from Northern Rock yesterday accepting my extension for another 5 months, so they'll be quiet for a while. Just waiting for the phone to ring from Hellifax, haven't heard from them for a couple of days! :p

I must say thank you to everyone on here, as coming here and seeing what you all say has really given me the impetus to take a proper control over our finances. I must admit that when we first went into the DMP we still carried on spending more than we should, though not on credit cards anymore, and it's only now that we're starting to really clamp down

So, good luck to you all, hope you manage you first couple of years better than we have!!!

And good luck for today, hope it all goes your way!

    db xx

    Morning all!!:hello:

    Feeling better today!
Just had my post and no nasty surprises so am feeling pretty positive today, think I just had a bit of a wobble yesterday.

Welcome to all our new friends, this mutual support thread is such an enormous help when feeling down, confused, angry or even happy!!

I have come to the decision that all I can do is keep an eye on my statement from creditors, pay my DMP payments as arranged and stay calm!!(ha ha ha).
what will happen after that i dont know but we are all going through the same thing and just knowing that support is around helps so much.
So no more worrying everyone what will be will be and sometimes it wont make sense, but we've got each other to lean on.

    Ramble over for today !!!!!

    HAVE A GOOD DAY EVERYONE!!
