How far are you with your DMP??
I hope that joining us on this thread will make you feel better, we are all in the same situation and we do all have days feelin like you are feeling now. BUT i promise you it does get better. Although thats probly not much comfort at the moment.
Hows it going with your creditors??
Will be online a bit longer so just chat away(thats if you want too)

Most of us on this support thread are in the first couple of months of ours and we are always here if you need advice, a chat or just someone to lift your spirits.

We are all in the same boat just remember you're not alone!!!!.

Kelly - thanks for the good wishes i'm hoping to follow EX's example and get some questions answered today, however needed a strong cup of coffee before facing the demon creditors.

Just at the stage of sent notice letter to Creds from CCCS. thanks for your kind thought...it really is getting me down at the moment. In fact it is depressing the hell out of me, Lloyds robbed my savings account this month...all 12pence of it:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have a good income and will pay £350 pm into the plan, a debt free period of about 6 yrs but they all need to freeze interest etcc....

Total £31k

Lloyds TSB I owe £18k
Black Horse £2k
MBNA £8K
Nationwide £2K
Cap1 £1k

Not many, Lloyds are the main one!

Just rang Barclaycard, they are my biggest creditor so figured I would start at the top!!
They said no problem!!
Offers from CCCShave been accepted and the interest has been frozen!! RESULT:j

KEVSTER - don't despair if you take a look back through the thread you will see that we've all had days when it seems like too much to cope with but by coming here I have had some great advice and support don't know how i would have managed without these fantastic people!! It's gonna take me nearlt 11 years to pay back what I owe but for the first time in years I feel that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, even though it's a very long tunnel!!!:D

You have taken the first step which is really brave and faced up to your debts.
It takes a bit of time but you will get there in the end!

Hang on in there.

I know the first bit of sending out the letters and that is really scary and reality hits aswell as to how much debt your in, i was so down when i started mine but now i am feeling a lot better,especially when every day someone accepts the reduced payments.
I hope it makes you feel better to chat to some of us and im sure that more of our group will be a long soon to offer some more advice and support.

Welcome to Kevster. Stick with us. You'll soon be feeling better. We have all been where you are and certainly for me things have progressed brilliantly. If you can take copies of those letters to creditors. It means you'll have a copy and when they claim not to have received it (which loads of them do) you can send another copy. It's also useful for when you start doubting yourself that you have sent them.

Teecee, :j brill news about Barclaycard. I'm ringing them at 3pm if there is nothing from them in the post.
