Afternoon everyone,
My post has just been, so here goes. I had 2 from Sainsbury's Bank, 1 a CC Statement with the CCCs payment on and a late payment fee. the other letter from them saying they notice that my payment is short and could i make it up. I sent them a notification of the DMP by recorded delivery. I did not send them a token payment as they had had full payment that month. Should I send them another notification of the DMP???????? I also had to do that with Halifax. Has anyone else had dealing with SAINSBURY'S BANK????.
TAKE CARE EVERYONE

hi amani,
havent got debt with sainsburys so cant help.you could wait a week and see if one dept tells the other.could be a post overlap.sometimes takes a while to stop the charges even when they have accepted the dmp.at least the statement has your dmp pay on so they cant dispute your not paying.im with mint cc and my charges wont stop til june.have to send the default then the termination letter than 14 days after that the charges stop.have lower my credit limit so they can charge a£12 overlimit fee, a late payment £12 fee cos the statement goes out 2 days before the cccs date and the interest charges so i paid £5 off and got £32 put on.may send some of my blood next month as well(lol)!!!
keep plodding on.will be alright in the end.regards,xxPeople bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

Also my OH and I just split, he wants to leave all the debts together in paypaln and he just give me half the payment each month, the debts in my name are higher thanthe ones in his name but we are bioth accountable for them getting there IYKWIM, is this a good idea or should we split them?
PS hope you don't mind me barging in like this - I'm not so much of a newbie just been lurking for ages!!!0 -
Goodafternoon to everyone,
Had two letters today 1 from nationwide saying they wasen't happy with us!!!!!!!!!! and could we phone them to sort out payment? we spoke to them last week and they said they were waiting on hearing from PAYPLAN,so whats going on? 2nd letter was from LLOYDSTSB informing us that the bank account that we have with them is over the overdraft limit, because they applied more charges...

Hi,
Not sure whether it's a good idea. What happens if he stops paying? How stuck will you be? (OH's ex has done an IVA without telling him, so now they are chasing OH for the remainder of the joint loan and she says it's fair - even though they agreed to pay half each )working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
hi craftingqueen,....lloydstsb are getting to be a real pain for you.what do their expect you to do?if you have the patience, id send another letter asking to stop the charges as its creating even more probs and all your other creditors have agreed to your dmp.theres a template letter on the nationdebtline website thats really good.have you opened a parachute a/c somewhere else incase they take all your money towards the o/d?might be better to ask them to take you to court(i know!!!)but at least it will stop the charges and they usually know you are serious if you send that kind of letter.the nationaldebtline website is really good and very informative with all sorts of template letters.havent dealt wth nationwide but not nice peeps from whats been on this thread.(sorry, not what you ant to hear ,i know).my marshallward nearly got transferred to them but managed to sort in time ,i hope!am sending you hugs and positive thoughts.xx
drivingmemad.......welcome.id either write to them again with your payplan ref no and explain again about the dmp or wait for them to either fone you or write.it always takes ages for the message to get throu that you cant pay so they act daft and keep asking for their money incase you give in .think its standard practise.ask payplan to re-send your info and tell them the creditors are being awkward.should be ok.hope so.also id let payplan know about the marriage situation and splitting the payment and they will advise whats best.
hope i have helped alittle.regards,xxPeople bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

Hi
Welcome to itsalldrivingmemad (iadmm).
Well had a good sleep and awoke to a letter from First direct stating that they are aware i am going through a DMP with Payplan. Asked me to return cards(already cut up) and return cheque books. Dont think i will shed a tear over that :rotfl:
Rang Payplan regarding payment recieved and was told it generally takes 3/4 days before they are aware it is in their account from the date it leaves my account.

newlywed - congrats on getting a car, enjoy yourselfs.
What a Surprise had a phonecall from lloyds tonight god they must love me with all this contact they are giving me in the last couple of days.
Was told one minute payplan haven't included our loan to them then next is that the amount that payplan had offered them for the loan was not enough and they will only accept double the amount!!!!!!
Whatever next was dreading this phone call but wasen't too bad. They even put me on hold to the music by JAMES MORRISON "YOU GIVE ME SOMETHING".
thought that was funny, was it a ploy to get me to give them more money i haven't got !

Hi all, will do proper introduction and etails a little later, but just a quikie to get me virgn post out of the way.
I have had initial contact with CCCS, and am ready this weekend to get serious and go through everything with them.
My question is this, i have just begun the Bank Charge Reclaim procedure. Bearing in mind i am probably going to claim circa £2500, in charges and also have an overdraft going on to DMP of around the same £2500 mark, will the DMP starting, have any effect on trying to reclaim the charges?
Sorry if thats a bit jumbled but hopefully you catch my driftAre you ready for this
SECURED LOANS £55,000
UNSECURED LOANS £25,000
CREDIT CARDS £11,000
 TOTAL £91,000.00:eek:
DFD OCT 2018  (Man, that feels like forever)
Then of course there is the £198,000 mortgage which is going to cost me closer to £1/2 million before i pay it off. Got to make an effort to overpay when things are straighter.0 -
Good morning everybody.
Man O Bong Welcome to the site and congrats on losing your posting virginity! I am also claiming back bank charges at the moment. I have just got to the stage of filing my money claim. I have also been wondering the same as you. I would suggest contacting the CCCS and asking them what they think you should do. I was planning on paying off my overdraft with the money claimed but as I have had to declare this to the CCCS I understand that I can't do this as it may be considered by your other creditors as favoritism. I would definitely contact the CCCS at least to put your mind at rest. Your DMP shouldn't have any effect on reclaiming your charges as whatever your financial situation they are still unfair and unlawful.
Craftingqueen I'm glad that your phone call with Lloyds wasn't to bad your braver than me. I know that when companies or telesales phone that there is a silence there end for a few seconds before anyone speaks so I just put the phone down. I'm a bit of a chicken but I can't quite deal with the phone calls just yet.
I received my first default notice today from AA as I was already in arrears of £200. It was written in all the fury of harsh black bold print. They made no reference to my DMP at all, which I know they received as I sent all the notifications to my creditors my recorded delivery. Should I send this on to the CCCS to keep them informed?
Hope everyone has a good day- Sweety x:wall: Only Dead Fish Go With The Flow!!!
