Morning all
Seems that some of you are having an awful time. Hope it gets better soon. :grouphug:
Joe you'll get a letter soon thanking you for returning the documents and including a list of your creditors, what you owe and what they have offered.
It's good that you enclosed token payments. I didn't do that and I now regret it.
Hellifax are ringing me again. I haven't answered as I'm in work. :eek:0 -
Just took a call from Hellifax. The girl said "oh you are supposed to be on hold aren't you". I said eh yeah. She said "oh sorry about that I'm not supposed to be calling you". I asked if any decision had been taken and she said no it was still on hold. Hopefully they'll give me peace again for a few days now.0

This waiting game really is a pain, I've had no confirmation from HSBC I guess they're hoping I'll go with the managed loan!!! On the positive side I've got a part time job, had interview yesterday and they called me last night - which is great news although it will make little difference financially as the reduction to tax credit and childcare will almost cancel it out - but it's good to feel useful again. When I gave up work in Sept (having always worked) to do the degree I thought it would be great and I have been busy, busy watching This Morning, busy watching Loose Women etc etc (ha,ha) really missed the motivation of work(??!), so now back to work I go and a degree and 3 kids and oh at home - hope I don't live to regret it!! Hope you all have a bit of positive news today. Have a good one.

I started my DMP this month with the CCCS and "touch wood" I have had no scares yet.
MBNA and EGG have written to me whinging that I have cancelled their direct debits but no news on DMP yet.
Capital One wrote to me asking for me to pay what is overdarwn on my a/c, I phone them up and they said that they have accepted my DMP payments. woo hoo - well, they are only getting £10 pm less than before.
HSBC keep ringing me, probably to tell me that my a/c is overdrawn.
Haven't heard a peek for the Co-op yet so might give them a ring to see whats going on.
Good luck everyone, we are all in this together.Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Good afternoon everyone and it is a good one for me. :j :j :T
Came home to some mail:
Egg :A have accepted the DMP but will review after 6 months. As long as they get their first payment by 1 April (they'll get it from CCCS on 25 March) they will freeze interest and charges. :j :j :j
Next have also accepted and frozen interest. :j
So story so far:
Accepted:
Cahoot (my biggest creditor)
Egg
Next
Argos
Awaiting:
Hellifax  (they are the scariest for me)
Barclaycard (their original correspondence was encouraging)
GE x 2 (statement from them today saying they have passed to their debt department)
Studio (not a single utterance from them so far. Owe them £200 which isn't that much on the grand scale of things.
Hope the rest of you get some good news today.0 -
Congratulations to IDAAS on her new job. :T

Oh and I got my password from CCCS. I have already logged in. :j If you choose to pay by SO or DD then you can opt not to have paper statements. I'm going to do that. I could do without the depressing you owe x amount of pounds letter once a month. I'll just look at it online. Plus it is daft paying £2.20 a month to the PO.
As you can see I'm easily pleased today. :rotfl:0
