hi all,
just a quick visit.had letter from mint yesday.not content with still adding interest charges, i now have late payment fees(which they do on purpose cos they do their statements just before cccs pay them but they know this and wont budge) and io have also got overlimit fees(which is their fault cos they put my credit limit down from £450 to £400 when they knew i owed £420
and the monthly payments were £5) so this month i paid £5 and had about £32 added on but they wont stop the charges till 14 days after the termination letter is sent so yim looking at june at the earliest.talk about kick you when youre down.some creditors have been really great and some have tried for every last penny and then some.
am really fed up today.cant drive so rely on oh for transport and shopping.he knows theres nothing in the fridge but wont take me to get anything then moans thats theres never anything in to eat.went out this morn and bought a barbeque and charcoal(i know, dont get me started!!!)and finished building it at 4pm when all the big shops had shut then blamed me cos everything was my fault.has been in and out all day and has now gone out on his motorbike.said he was tired of stopping in all day.i thought chance would be a fine thing!!!been stuck in all day.you would think he would want to spend time with me but oh no!!!so been crying loads today cos everythings getting on top of me again.got to be real careful cos i suffer with clinical depression and can feel myself slipping down the slope to where i was before when i was tempted to end it all.
im sorry for the rant as i dont want to depress you all cos you are all suffering too at the mo but i just had to get it off my chest.cant fone mum cos it would make me even worse.
anyway, hope you are all doing better than me.lovely to hear from you ,sea.been following the thread.
welcome to all the newbies, and apologise to brassicks whose name i forgot yesday.
look after yourself nikkijp and baby.
teecee.....you did a good job, talking to yourself but we were all here in spirit!!!
smilealot......glad to read you are back.
newleywed.......didnt know about the asda situation.was just thinking of your ever lengthing arms trying to cope without transport re shopping.costs me a fortune on the buses when they turn up.really bad bus service round here. one per hour and totally unreliable.had a kwiksave supermarket in our village then it closed before xmas and so never seem to have any food in house.seem to have to go to big supermarkets every week instead of 2 weeks before and am spending a fortune cos you cant just go in and spend under a fiver in the big shops.use to go to kwiksave every day for essentials.
sorry for the essay.will catch up later when in better frame of mind.
everyone take care.regards,xxPeople bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

Sorry you having such a crap time at the moment. my OH can be like that too sometimes and it certainly doesnt help the situation. Ive suffered with serious depression in the past and thats why im scared my debt will set me on that path again. its a horrible place to be in so please go easy on yourself. You have to take care of youself and if others are being selfish then you have to try to ignore it and not see it as a reflection on you. YOU are your number one priority right now so please treat yourself right and sod the rest of them! We are always here for you.0

Hi
ilgd sorry to hear of your problems. Hope everthing works out. I was interested in what you said about mint. I checked my online, now not used, First direct account. I have included the overdraft in my list of creditors. I looked at the O/D charges and it was £8 something. That would have still not put me over my limit but then i realised that they had lowered my limit by £10. Cheeky so and so's. They know that that will put me over my limit and then they can charge me over limit charges. How sneaky is that.
Anyway at work now so must get on. Hope you have a nice Sunday evening.

Joek - I miss you!!!!
Aw, shucks
I'm sorry for being so neglectful at the mo'! I'm just being such a busy little bee at the moment, that no sooner do I pop along to the thread, something diverts my attention (although I'm always thinking of my two special ladies;) )
Rest assured that I'm always here in spirit...if not always in...erm...digital flesh.
Or something vaguely along those lines.
From a personal point of view everything has just been ticking away really. I've received no nasty letters (or at least nothing which I wasn't expecting), but I'm puzzled by Barclays a bit...(my defunct account).
From sending me some rather vicious (albeit standard!) letter from them mumbling away about not accepting the CCCS proposal and fobbing my debt over to a collection agency, I've heard absolutely nothing from them...apart from a letter reminding me of all the lovely benefits I have as a 'valued' member of Barclays (oh, the irony).
CCCS distributed out my first payment on the 25th, which is fab - -things have only gone down a little smidge, but it's a start!
For the first time in years, I have got money for the essentials, plus enough for the 'odd' treat...Although, I haven't bought anything exciting for myself in well over a couple of months, and haven't really wanted to - must be a good thing:D).
So things are pretty good all things considered.
And (touching a HUGE bit of wood), I've still got my health:T
Take care everyone ('specially Teecee and Smile - sorry to have faves, but y'know how it is...)!

Lost my 2 star virginity to smilealot and teecee. And no other two could have been better!0
