YM - glad everyone is ok.
Have just had enough of walking with bags of shopping so have done a big online order (sainsbugs) that will hopefully last just over 2 weeks. Not carrying any more bags of tins home - my arms can't take it!!Poor delivery guy though, it's mostly all frozen stuff, tins and juice!!
Dunno what we'll do when we run out of our big box of washing powder later in the month!!
Some of my £5 token payments have been cashed now. No denying they got my letters!!!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Hiya everyone. Tried to sit down and fill in all my paperwork but just didnt know what to write to my creditors. Dont know whats wrong with me, not normally this inefficient! Have to do it tomorrow. Anyone got any ideas how i can word my letters? Payplan told me not to send anything but my DMP wont start until end of May so feel i just cant ignore them.
My midwife visited yesterday, blood pressure still high, have to rest more etc. Cant tell her the real reason im not well. Got 13 weeks to go, hope everything is well on its way to being sorted then. Took my boys to local library today and got myself some books on positive thinking! Determined to try and change my outlook on things, my boys deserve a happier mother!0 -
Nikkijp Hi, take it easy i know its easier said than done, but the baby is more important. Maybe when you have sent off your letters you may feel a lot better, I did. Im on a DMP with CCCs and they sent out a letter to copy and send to your creditors with a token payment. Thats all you need to do. dont stress yourself thinking of a letter to write to them. just write what payplan told you to write. I have 3 sons 13yrs, 14yrs and 2yrs and also a daughter who is 1yr on Monday. Sometimes I feel quite stressed with all this debt and phone calls and letters. Its only money when it comes down to it and we are sorting it out now(that makes me feel better). Your family is far more important, please take it easy, it will all come out in the wash.
newlywed there is another NewlyWed but capital N and W
PS SORRY I wanted to say to YM thank God you and your family are ok, I thought of you when I heard it on the news this morning.0 -
Thanks amani. Only prob is Payplan dont tell you what to write to your creditors and they dont provide specimen letters on their website. Two of my creditors are owned by MBNA and payplan told me they know for a fact they wont accept my DMP and think they will pass them on to DCA.
This website has been an absolute godsend. I really cant bring myself to tell any of my family or friends and my husband just stresses about me stressing! My kids are quite understanding when i have to say NO to them all the time, but my husband isnt. he works 60 hours a week and doesnt want to give up any of his luxuries. Hes trying to give up smoking but is finding it very, very hard.
Will definitely sit down tomorrow for half an hour and fill in my paperwork .The thought of it is probably worse than actually doing it.
On a positive note trying to buy everything i need for baby from ebay and car bootsales. Have nothing left from my boys and this time its a girl so have to start from scratch. The quality of stuff from ebay has been great and im also sellins stuff on there to offset the cost!0 -

forgive me,someone asked about bankruptcy but cant remember(sorry)not much time and trying to go really quick.if you dont own a house and have no dependants and no assets to speak of,then id consider bankruptcy or possibly an iva.believe theres a very good thread on here that explains loads.
