Sounds like a case of I didn't want him but I don't want anyone else too either!

I hate Asda for shopping rather do Netto than Asda they never seem to have enough food concentrate a bit too much on non foods to me. Saying that last month I went for a PJ shop!

I hate Asda to go into. Far too busy and everyone always seems to push and shove round the veg aisle. Gets me really annoyed.

Usually use Co-op and Tesco as they are really quiet, but now have no car so it's a real pain as it's 20 min walk to get bread and milk in my lunch hour and 20 min walk back - let alone getting anything else!!

Probably go back to Sainsbury delivery, or might try Tesco maybe if they deliver to home.

Went to Lidl today to get veg. Bought jam, cake, biscuits, smoked salmon too - oops. Still in budget though. Will need to get frozen veg but no idea how unlss I get a delivery.

Rang CCCS today. They were really really nice! I was so worried about rining them after they left a message. They are sending me the pack and payment details. All ready to go ahead starting May. Got some more statements in too and they all have £12 late payment £12 over limit charges now. No post today though.

Were going to go 15 miles on the bus to see a car this afternoon but they rang to say it's gone. At least they rang to tell us! So rang an old neighbour of my parents who now runs a garage and he's gonna see what he can come up with for our budget and requirements. Here's hoping, coz I am completely shattered with all the walking - carrying bags of potatoes etc home is NOT fun!!!

Plus the money we will spend on buses will cripple us if we're not careful.

Sent off some of the ebay stuff, got 3 more to send tomorrow - most people have paid really quickly this time - hurrah!!

So it's been a busy day off already today. This afternoon helping OH carry tools to a job (about half hour walk). I'd better end up slimmer after all this!!!

Hope everyone is having a good Friday.

It really annoys me about public transport, I had to take my daughter to the doctors this week and my hubby normally negotiates his dinner hour and takes us in the car. It cost me £1.15 and 70p for my little girl one way, car parking is only 25p! When we moved here 3 years ago bus fare was only 80p - so how is that encouraging public transport!

Hi everyone Ive just come across this thread, its great in a not so great kind of way ;) but its nice to know Im not alone. I have started a DMP with CCCS sent of all the paperwork last week, does anyone know how long it takes them to sort it out? Im worried its not going to sort itself out, I guess thats normal?

Because I cant meet the minimum payments and until they sort the DMP out CCCS said to send a token payment and the letter they gave me to my creditors. Do I have to send my own letter as well or can I just bung a cheque in the post with like £5?! Is £5 too little btw??

    Lily x

    Hi

The CCCS will send you a letter to photocopy to send out with your token payments and £5 is not too small at all - it's a token to show you are willing to pay still.

Welcome to the thread! I don't post much now as I've got a few oter things going on but try to keep up :)

I've had a few DCA letters now and am having a general nightmare, but hopefully I can sort things more clearly this weekend.

rayday - she'd better be careful about her teeth, apparently mints are bad for rotting them if eaten too often (and I think 10 packets a day would fall into that category!!!). Bought any lottery tickets for tomorrow's Euromillions?

She went to her doctors because if she doesn't eat mints she gets headaches and tired, he laughed at her. But she is worried as she goes to bed after brushing her teeth sucking two!
  • Hi everyone,

Had post delivered at 1.30pm today,i'm always nervous about what to expect .Had a mix bag of letters today from creditors.Tesco c/c letter giving me relevant details they said that payplan will need,a cancellation on ppi on a c/c and two letters from RBOS confirming that they have read my letters about payplan and was waiting to hear from them.

Still no news from any of our loans we owe more to them than c/c etc's...

Hope postie has been good to everyone.

Teecee[/B] - hello! Thanks for the PM.

    Joek
    - it's so lovely to hear from you. I've missed you too! I've made a new resolution to keep popping in here because it keeps me sane. Think I need to start some fun topics of banter too.... I'll get my thinking cap on. I love all your hippy stuff, you should start you're own commune (I nearly wrote harem - of course, teecee and I would be knocking at your door if that was the case :rotfl: )

I know, I'll tell you my new fav joke (maybe a bit dirty for some peoples' taste - sorry if so!):

There are three sisters: Ann, Jan & Fanny. They all have big feet. Ann & Jan go on a date, and one of the boys says "Jesus, you have big feet!". Ann replies "You should see our Fanny's - they're huge!"

    Hi everyone,

well Halifax are calling 6 times a day. As my DH is at work cant take the call, told them but they still keep calling. Called the last 2 nights at 8.30pm and 7.45pm. I told them not to call at this time of night, they said but we have to talk to DH and I told them but hes not here. Got a letter from them this morning asking DH to call them urgently. They have completely ignored any letters or faxes we have sent them. They have rung twice today already.

LILY-ELLA Welcome you will get some good advice from the nice people on here. It can be very daunting when you first start your DMP (only made 1 payment on mine). I just sent a copy of the letter they sent me and a token payment of £5 each. CCCs take your payments on the 1st of the month, they told me that your first payment is nomaly around the 8th paid by giro slip at the post office, then you can set up a DD to go out on the 1st of each month. My second payment is due to go on the 1st of may, by DD.
    Hope that answers your questions.

ONAMISSION Sorry cant help with the question about the minimum payment of £100, from reading posts on here I think it is higher with payplan. Yellowmonkey should be able to answer that as I think he had the same problem. I agree with rayday2 if all else fails I would go DIY and use the letters from the National Debt Line website.

    Hi everyone;)

Hope you are all well and not feeling stressed!

lily-ella Welcome :hello: , it took about 2/3 weeks to get my CCCS dmp up and running. They will send you a letter to photocopy and send to to credtors informing them you are entering a DMP with CCCS. Send a copy of the letter to your creditors with any token payments. £5 is fine, it is just a token to let them know that you are prepared to pay something. Make the token payments by cheque so you will be able to tell if they have received the letters. If they cash the cheques they've had the letter. I sent all my DMP letters to creditors by recorded delivery.

IDA - Know what you mean about being really busy at the moment, I don't have anywhere near enough time to log in and chat to my fab friends on here. Great to hear from you and glad all is well!.

Sea - Good to hear you are ok, hope everything is well at home and you are getting things sorted. Thinking of you!

Smile - You are so naughty.............

Joek - My little ray of sunshine............;) How are you flower, I've missed you too!!!
Hope you are not working too hard, and don't forget you need to save me some sweets or I will be mighty upset.
I like they Idea of a harem, (does that make me a bad girl!!!:rotfl: )

    Hello to everyone else!!!

Nothing to report from teecee world, just updated my total debt amount on the CCCS website, I'm sure It was meant to go down and not up:mad: Mind you at least now the figures are all correct, taken from the statements and all my creditors have stopped interest so maybe from now on it will start to go down, here's hoping:p

Good Luck everyone, hope today's a good one for you all!!

onamission - I thought I read that as long as you have £5 per month for each creditor you could be taken on for a DMP (not sure if was CCCS or Payplan). I may be wrong I'm sure someone will correct me if I am.
