    Hi guys :hello:

Sorry can't help with the CCJ question. amani - I'd ring CCCS and ask their advice. They are on your side and are the people in the know.

Thanks for the cheery messages. I'm feeling slightly brighter today. I guess it's dangerous to face all of your problems at once, which is what I started to do last night. I got a letter from Natwest again today. Think it was a default, or a threat of one dressed up. What happens now? Do PayPlan keep paying the money to the same account number?

    Thanks again guys,

    smilelot :rolleyes2

    SMILE
Glad to hear you are feeling brighter today. When I asked CCCs about default letters I received they told me that when I get a letter saying that another company has taken over the debt, then I should let them know.

hope thats of use to you.

Did the unlawful bank charges letter to first direct, got an offer of nearly 1200 quid, about a 100 less than asked for. I'm going to take it and that amount will go off what I owe them. I did ask for a cheque so that I could pay it into payplan but they said they can't do that. Still at least thats a bit off my debt!

Well im beintg rung everyday by MBNA......They rung me two weeks ago saying they want an extra 17.00 pounds a month, even though im with CCCS....they basicaly said i shouldnt trust CCCS and i should pay them...gave me a week to think things over...or i could pay 4500 pounds and they would call it quits...

Im not speaking to them and i think they are getting more frustrated, yesterday so called manager from MBNA leaves messgae tells me they cant keep on ringing me like this everyday[i wonder if they work on a commision basis to see how much money they can get out of someone]Had another message today. Can i now say they are potentialy harrasing me....

Anyway good news,i had my 6 monthly check up with CCCS,and i have given up my 5 pounds worth of newspapers a month and one or two other things.......and i can now hurl an extra 15.00 pounds a month to my sharks...

BTW what happens if the likes of MBNA go for a CCJ......I do not own my house, car etc etc...what can they put an order on.......

    Hi.

rustybucket congrats on First direct :T well done.

No post for me today so nothing to report to base camp.

Done my shopping online with Tesco yesterday. Would not normally do it that way but i had a £15 off email to use with a code so basically done my shop for the stuff i know i will need. So I have brought 6 cases of lager and 1000 ciggies :rotfl: :rotfl: Only joking.

I brought washing powder, conditioner etc. Not quite as exciting.:D

Hope you all have a nice evening

    ym
  • Hiya everyone, some of these posts have made me really nervous. When you speak to CCCS or Payplan they make DMPs sound so easy and straight forward. They dont mention CCJs or Court at all. Im still awaiting my paperwork from Payplan and i suppose its the calm before the storm! Bloodpressure is still high and still not sleeping. Walking around with a mask on, looking at other people and wishing i was in their position. Just wish i could find a way of earning more money. Thank god for this site.

    Hi all.

I'm finding it harder and harder to get time to sit down and read my fave thread!

I'm missing Smile and Teecee (my special partners in crime...well, debt;) )

My only news is that CCCS have send out the payments to my creditors - it's nice to see the debt go down (if only by a little bit!).

Nikkijp - don't be nervous! Just take everything as it comes. It can be fairly tough to hang on in there sometimes, but I've always had the attitude that things always work out in the end (and folks who've been on this thread a while will probably know I harp on about this 'hippy' stuff a lot:D), and I firmly believe this to be true.

Anyway - you ALL take care, and I'll try to be on here more often...I'm still thinking constantly of those sweets though...Jelly Bellies...they are shockingly expensive, but by god they're good.

Lost my 2 star virginity to smilealot and teecee. And no other two could have been better!
  • hi all,
joek.....am addicted to aniseed balls, not as bad as drugs but not so good for the waistline!!
smilealot.......they will keep sending the payments whether they like it or not.
    rustybucket.....congrats on your victory,im proud of you.x
brassicks.....dont pay themany more money and tell them your sticking tto the amount on your dmp and you cant pay what you dont have.its a ploy alot of them use and if you made the arrangement it will go against your dmp.cos you have no assets as such there will be no charge if it goes to ccj and you will have to pay your monthly payment to the creditor instead of to your dmp.main thing is never to miss paying them and on time.
nikkijp....please dont worry.your imagining things before they happen.most times your debt is sold on to a dmc who are happy to take payments as now.advice is only a fone call away and we are here (well i am,im never off here lately.its so addictive )and ill help you as much as poss.
to everyone else .....hope you are well and i have covered what you wanted to know.
will bid you all goodbye for now and catch you later.oh is of for a few days so may not be around but i will be back!!!
    regards.xx

My sister has a thing for xxx mints, she is on about 10 packets a day and getting withdrawal symtoms. Her local post office gets them in by the box for her!

SHe started on them when giving up ciggies, turns out it is costing her more in mints than in ciggies lol
