New Dmp Mutal Support Thread

hi ym and craftingqueen, I had my first statement from CCCs in the post this morning.

QUESTION??????
I have had default notices and letters from creditors refusing my DMP payment, also telling me they are passing the debt on to a
DCA. Should i send these letters to CCCs? When i told CCCs about these letters the lady said that these are just routine letters and I should only tell them when a DCA tell me they have taken over the debt, which i have not had yet.

Any advice welcome.

Cannot really advise what happens when passed onto DCA as i am not at that stage yet. Personally i send a copy of everthing i recieve to Payplan. They then have all the latest info to hand and i also keep copies myself so i know where i am.

Anyway got a nice beef stew on low on the hob and am off to bed for a few hours ( on nights tonight,not lazy :rotfl: ).

Speak to whoever is about in the wee hours.

Hi Amani - you're probably getting the same letters as I did. I'm sending the ones that pertain to passing the debt over to a DC agency (well, I'm being all techy and scanning them into the computer and emailing them all over...), but I'd imagine as soon as you get details of the agency dealing with the debt, then call them asap so they can deal with them.

YM - I'll let you know the details as soon as I get them (whether they pass these things onto yet another DC agency, I don't know!):)

hi all
thanks teecee did what you suggested and got a great reply telling me it was illegal for sky to pass it on to a dca when i was disputing the bill upshot was called sky today quoted law to them for 10 mins till i got a supervisor who knew there job who recaluted the bill and guess what i only owed them £12.00 which i have paid and also got an address to write to so i can claim phone charges back result:j (he is also going to contact westcott and imform them bill is settled.
got another letter from solution threating me with a ccj so called them to kick off and was told they have accepted cccs offer but would not freeze interest or charges yet:mad: oh well win some lose some

Had a very quiet time from postie today, thinking this is good ? then goes to pick kids up from school.Returning to find hubby on the phone to Northern rock,explaining to them not to phone him up at work as they are risking his job.Then the bloke was really shouting at him we all could hear him shouting it was that loud.Lucky OH was calm but the other bloke wasen't.

But Northern Rock are one our lowest creditors ...so god knows what the others are going to be like.

Crafting queen - I would write a letter to Northern Rock insisting that you only be contacted in writing in the future.
Tell them if not you will consider it to be harrassment on their part and you will take it up with the Financial Ombudsman. Also complain about the member of staff calling you husband and his manner/behaviour!!

when hubby was on the phone to the shouty bloke,hubby said this is harrasement you can't do this. Hubby was then told yes they can,and that we can expect three calls a day!
Luckly hubby took the phone call as if was me i would have been in a right old mess.
