All quiet today. No phone calls at all.

No car anymore. It's gonna be scrapped. Rust has got the better of it and areas that were welded last year need doing again with lots more. :(

Have walked miles today including up to garden centre with OH and he walked back carrying a fence post!!! :D Have blisters now.

But have set up a spread sheet with all my new DMP allowance pots so I can note each day what is spent and how much is left ;)

    I'm looking very organised - won't last!!

    Morning.

Feeling positive, but tired today. Having to get up earlier (as bus takes about 40 minutes more than the car drive to work). Have to pick the kids up later on so will have to get a taxi for that this week till we can work something else out.

Been trying to do my meal plan and shopping plan so that I only get two bags of stuff a day so it's not too much to carry (20 minute walk back to work and then two buses and another 10 minute walk to get home).

Ebay stuff is going well. Two items have sold (£12 total) and currently have another £42 worth of bids!!! Have lots more to put on ebay too.

Hoping to spend the money for our anniversary next month. ;)

Hope everyone else is having a good day.

    Hello everyone,

Sorry I havent been posting much. Everythings gone quiet with the DMP which can only be a good thing I suppose.

I am keeping myself with another charges claim to BOS for £1250. Wish me luck!!! I have also got a couple of missold PPI claims on the go which are keeping me busy!!!

Newlywed Well done on the ebay sales :T I need to get my bottom in gear and do the same but the above is keeping me busy!!! I am sorry to hear about the car. If you lived a little nearer I would give you a lift or you could come shopping with me!!

I hope everyone has a lovely week. I am off to meet with a mental health assessor on Tuesday regarding my anxiety and depression. Hopefully they will be able to help me.

Right off to deal with my two year old who has a pen and is looking at the wall as if its a blank canvas!!!

    Take care all

    Hi Everyone

    Hope you are all well,

winkus - Great to hear all is quiet I hope it stays that way, Good Luck with claiming the bank charges:D

newlywed - Good news about the ebay sales, hope you make lots of money and can afford to buy a sparkly, rust free, gorgeous car!!!

Really quiet here today nothing in the post and no nasty calls.

My friend has just invited me and DD away for the weekend in Devon for bank holiday. Will only cost about £30 (petrol and food divided by 2) really need a break and a change of scenery but now I'm worried I'm being reckless spending money to go away for the weekend when I should be trying to get more money together for debts!!!!!!!!

Thanks teecee - only up to £50 so far though so think the rust free bit might be wishing a bit hard.

As for the weekend away - if someone offered me a weekend away for that little money I'd eat beans on toast and plain pasta for the rest of the month and just go! When will you ever get another short break for that little money?? Although you do have to factor in food, spending etc...

In my opinion £30 is not wreckless. Just work out if there is any way you can cut your budget slightly for the next two months to make up the extra, if you feel that guilty?

Thanks Newlywed You're right I just feel really guilty about spending money these days!!!!!!

Will tighten my belt for a couple of months and just go and have a good time. DD doesn't know anything about it, it's a surprise!! She loves the seaside so just her excitement when I tell her we are going will make me feel better and not so guilty

Try this thread: Meal for 2 for 50p http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=326929&highlight=meals

Add as many of those in as you can for the month ;)

Hello Lonelytoo - welcome. My DMP should start in May too - taken me ages to sort myself out!! ;)
