    Hi Everybody

I hope that everyone is having a reletivley stressless day and for those who aren't it can only get better!

I just wondered if you sent original documentation to the CCCS/Payplan to set up your DMP or photocopies. I'm a bit concerned about sending everything in the post?

Guys, if you are worried about phone calls for HEAVENS SAKE change the number! Its so quick and easy and (usually) FREE. Then GUARD your number and only give it out when absolutely neccessary. Its so nice now when my mobile or landline rings, I know its someone "nice" and nothing to be feared!

I've got call sign from BT so I give this number out to anyone not F&F and it rings with a different ringtone. Know immediately not to answer the phone...
apparently anyone can get an 0870 number - could make some money out of the DCAs- hee hee

    Hi Nikkijp

I have an AA loan as well I am yet to send them any info to inform them about my DMP, but I have had conversations with them about missed payments and a small amount of arrears they have been helpful and accomodating. I am hoping that they will be the same when they here about this. I will keep my fingers crossed for the both of us regarding them.

    hi everyone,

hello to all the newbies welcome. :j

nikkijp 2 of my creditors are MBNA and VIRGIN MONEY we owe about £700.00 to MBNA and £3,800.00 to VIRGIN MONEY they have been ok they have passed us on to a DCA straight away and have not charged us any interest or charges this month. hope that helps.

I've only been on my DMP for a month but so far we have had calls from the Halifax(they called one day only) we have a loan, OD, and CC. with them. The rest of my creditors are GREAT UNIVERSAL, who have excepted, SAINSBURY'S BANK CC, not heard anything from them, MINT CC, want more money. HSBC CC, excepted, CITI CC, not heard anything.

Hope this is of some help to anyone, maybe the newbies.

  • hi again,
nikkijp......dont worry about the recent debts.i started a mint loan for £5000 and only made 2 payments then had to go on my cccs dmp.they rang the other day to say itll be passed to a debt agency so im waiting to see who i get.
when i sent my cccs letters to my creditors , i enclosed a token payment cheque and wrote on the letter that all correspondence should be in writing, no fone calls.so i knew when they cashed the cheques they knew what was going on and couldnt deny anything.
i found lloyds very good.accepted for 6 months but i have had a previous dmp i did with them so it sorted of rooled over, so i think they know im a lost cause!
most have been very good and stopped the interest after about 2 months.
i did my own dmp and i prefer cccs cos you only send one payment and they distribute it all for you.
its hard to say how different creditors wil react cos to some they will be a pain and to others they will be good and its the same creditor, so who knows.
People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with :)

  • Greetings.

First of all welcome :hello: to daveindebt, ankle and mrwells. Always nice to see new members and you are in the right place for advice etc.

Only one letter today. That was from Egg saying that if i do not pay the missed payment then i will get a default notice. Whoopy do ;) .

Anyway took a scan of letter and emailed to my case officer at Payplan ( Why do i always want to type Paypal ). Nice to do that . Once done i can forget about it and concentrate on getting dinner ready.

HM cottage pie with veg today. When i say homemade i am making it at home with a homepride sauce :rotfl: . Had a clear out and inventory of my food cupboard and that was in there so i may as well use it.

Anyway have a good one and speak soon.

Thanks for saying 'Whoopy do' yellow monkey, not heard that for ages and made me chuckle!
