onamission......please dont feel bad at all.i was on a real downer yesterday about money.if i dwell on how long itll take me to repay i might as well go br(i know im sorry.just kidding!)main thing is youre dealing with it and every month you have even less to pay and you have sorted it and got really organised, and im proud of you so stick with it and think of how much interest and charges you have saved cos they cant add anymore!!!

Greetings.

First of all welcome :hello: to daveindebt,ankle and mrwells. Always nice to see new members and you are in the right place for advice etc.

Only one letter today. That was from Egg saying that if i do not pay the missed payment then i will get a default notice. Whoopy do .

Anyway took a scan of letter and emailed to my case officer at Payplan ( Why do i always want to type Paypal ). Nice to do that . Once done i can forget about it and concentrate on getting dinner ready.

HM cottage pie with veg today. When i say homemade i am making it at home with a homepride sauce :rotfl: . Had a clear out and inventory of my food cupboard and that was in there so i may as well use it.

Anyway have a good one and speak soon.

Guys, if you are worried about phone calls for HEAVENS SAKE change the number! Its so quick and easy and (usually) FREE. Then GUARD your number and only give it out when absolutely neccessary. Its so nice now when my mobile or landline rings, I know its someone "nice" and nothing to be feared!

We will ALL get through this. Its only money, easy to say for me today, I'm having a "good day" and feel I can take them all on. Remember its not personal, creditors calling are people like you and me, its not their money, they are just doing their job. I have been surprised how underdstanding they can be. That type of job doesn't pay well, creditors calling could well be in a DMP of their own!!

Thank you so much for your reply. Had a few tears cos its such a relief to be able to talk about things. Got a phone call scheduled for payplan tomorrow morning and am going to write to my creditors with token payment tomorrow.
My creditors are AA Loans, LLoyds, MBNA and Virgin credit cards. Has anyone else had a positive reaction from them. Also some of my debt is quite new as i tried to consolidate on cards in the hope of reducing my payments. Im wondering if they will kick up more of a fuss cos its fresh debt. Thank you again so much for the kind advice

If they let you consolidate they are to blame as you so don't worry about more fuss for recent debts especially considering debt is supposed to be harder to get!

I have to be honest here Lloyds as you can see from my sig were not the best to deal with, I got a lot of automated letters (I dealt with my DMP myself) and different letters from different addresses but this played in my favour because they messed the account up so much I got intereste refunded. And now as compensation they have agreed payments for a year so I have a breathing net. So at first not so good but eventually they knuckle down!

Its better to be dealing and well done to you now less tears

Cannot help with your creditors as none of them are mine as well.

This site has been invaluble to me in talking and writing things down that i would find hard to express to other people.

Good luck with your call with Payplan tomorrow. I am with them and they have been great. Non judgemental and very helpfull.
