    Hi everyone.

Feeling very worried. Car MOT is Monday. Have no money to buy another car. Bus fare costs more than petrol and insurance, and takes ages longer to get to work and back. Let alone collecting the kids from their mum's.

Really have no idea what we will do - other than delay the DMP by another month (was hoping to start May 1st) and try and buy another old heap with that money. :(

    Feeling fed up.

Meant to be clearing the car out so that if it needs to be scrapped, it can just go - car tax runs out this month too so the car will need to be sorted one way or another in a week.

Oh's getting grumpy because he's self employed and won't be able to do any extra work with no car - can't really take tools on the bus too easy either.

Plus I only have enough money for the MOT test, and bus fare for two days. Have nothing else other than 8p. Hopefully get paid on Wednesday but I have changed banks too so wages will take longer to go in.

Thankfully we have food. Thanks to all the OS board for all the meal planning etc.

    Hi craftingqueen,

Nationwide are terrible, they have even sent some bloke to my house!!!

I have been quite lucky with most of the others but they are really causing me sleepless nights again.

However the cccs said last week to take no notice they are just bullying but it scares the hell out of me. I have already sent the letter on to cccs and asked them to help me with it.

you may be lucky, I have read on here how bad halifax have been, but they only phoned me once to say my offer was accepted.

    Take Care

    Nxx

  • Hi all
sorry things not going well 95kelly bummer about the laptop! As far as the spend on holiday clothes go don't beat yourself up, CCCS allow a budget for clothes. And until naturism is the norm we all need them!
Joek great news about the interest, wish HSBC would sit up and take notice of my dmp  !!
Hi ym we had my dd 5th birthday party yesterday "princess and pirate" theme. I only had 12 children and it went very well! Its actually her bday tomorrow so more celebrations with nannie and papa then I think! More coincidences as my no3 son has a birthday next month (I think you said previously your other dd has a birthday in may too) and I'm also a Libra! Hope your party went well.
Glad your letter were good crafting queen.
Neith Nationwide sound like HSBC I don't think they can force you to sell the house but they are cruel!
huntress happy things are quiet with you.

Nobody has been deliberately missed - honest!. Hi and hugs to one and all. It really is very difficult to keep up!

On the IDA front things have been busy, started work which is going well and keeps my mind busy. Back to uni tomorrow too and haven't done a thing during the hols!  Discovered my super duper comp has extended warranty and managed to get the motherboard and cpu replaced super quickly (I thought I'd have to pay) so should be okay now (fingers crossed!). HSBC wrote and told me they have removed the od facility and how am I going to repay it :rotfl: they really are unbelievable!!

Anyway got to go, pork in the oven and need to get the yorkshire puds sorted. Speak to you all soon. Take care.

    love and hugs

    Hi guys :hello:

Just popping in to say hello.

Joek - I got a statement in the last few days from Halifax too, with 0% interest and no charges :T My first creditor to accept - I love the Halifax (as long as they follow suit for my overdraft and repay my charges!!).

Quite a few other nice things have been happening recently so I'm a smiley person again. Started taking St John's Wort this week so wondering if there is some kind of a correlation going on there???

Teaching full day tomorrow so must get to bed. Will say hi to everyone soon.

    Take care my lovely pumpkins,
