i agree about the nits my daughter is nearly 11 and can just about sit on her hair so just think how much fun me and oh have keeping her clear it takes an hour at least to comb her hair through.
had a quiet day today apart from 2 letters from bank telling me they are adding more charges on:eek:
wish they would just turn me over to a debt collection agency that i might be able to get sorted.

A very good evening to you all!

A wee bit late really, but I've only just got in (work until 8, and then a little leaving do for a colleague of mine - only £15 spend, including dinner, so not too shabby really!)...

But I had a rather lovely surprise waiting for me as I entered the house - my post.

It just looked like a standard monthly statement from Halifax. I opened it up though and scanned through it...now, I owe over £4000 on the thing...I looked at the minimum payment...£33.38. Hmm. Seems low. Scanned a bit more....hmm...interest 0%...Oooh! This is really good!

So, it seems that Halifax (one of the creditors I really thought I'd have a problem with) has got on board (for now, at least!), and have accepted CCCS's proposal, and have stopped interest.

I tell you what, that's as good a thing as happened all day! And considering it was a 10 hour working day today, that's pretty good.

Sorry to get all self-indulgent, but I'm really rather chuffed:D


And I've got the weekend off!

Hi all! Havent been around much, not much report really, everyone now excepted apart from HSBC and havent heard from them in days!!!
I have had a bit of a down week with money, and i then went shopping to primark to get some stuff for my holiday, i budgeted 21 quid for me and BF but then had a major overspend and spent £71, i really shouldn't have and now i feel awful and im skint. but im going to deal with it and now have to live on nothing till my holiday in four weeks, but thats my own fault.
Hope everyone is ok.
I also have to send my laptop in for repair so im not going to be around for a couple weeks because of that!!
Have listed five things on ebay this morning so hopefully i will make some money from that!!
well, i really hope all of you are ok and keeping well, im sorry havent had time to read the last posts but my computer only stays on for so long then cuts out!!! Will speak to you all when the laptop has come out of hospital.

32 at a party YM. Rather you than me. We had 25 at a joint one for DD's 2nd and DS's 7th. That was bad enough. Seriously though I hope you have a good day and happy birthday to your DD.

We have rain here but it is supposed to get better later. Spending most of the day painting walls though so doesn't matter what it does outside.

Kelly you are allowed to splash out once in a blue moon and I'm certain there was one this week . Have a look in your cupboards, freezer etc I'm sure you'll find enough to get by on.

What is suprising me is the lack of letters or phone calls (i'm sure thats tempting fate), there were lots of phone calls at the beginning and now they have stopped. It's strange. Egg have agreed to the DMP however I see from my online banking they are still charging interest at the mo, hopefully in a couple of months that will stop.
