I called 0845 080 1800 and the chap on the phone was more than helpful. Give them a call and they will really help put your mind at rest and make you feel a whole lot easier about it all.

Thanks for that. I've got the day off work tomorrow (my little angel in her first school assembly) so I'll give them a call after that.

Trying SO hard to be O/S0 -
Hi all!
Joek - it took about 7/10 days before I had any contact from CCCS, that is after i had returned the forms in the welcome pack and sent the letters of for my DMP. I used the credit slip and made my first payment the as i say about a week to 10 days later they sent me a breakdown of what they are proposing to pay to each of my creditors.
Still haven't heard from anyone who ,if any have accepted Dmp. Does anyone have any idea how long Barclaycard, Co-Op Bank, Morgan Stanley and Capital one usually wait before they start ringing......I'm getting more worried by the day
Got in today and there were 8 messages showing on the answer machine. No one had actually said anything so don't know who called. Dialled 1471 and the number was 0870 blah blah blah so I don't think it was my mum!!!
Hope everyone has had a good day! :hello:

Hi Teecee it's Sally
Just a quick post to say that barclaycard were my first creditor to respond with a "YES" to the DMP.They advised Payplan first then wrote to me. It was all in 7 days of payplan writing to them aswell. I think Payplan work a bit differently to CCCS but the end result is the same. Whenever I spoke to Payplan in the first few weeks I was always told who had replied and accepted and who had not. I would hope CCCS are the same.

Thanks Sally
Hope you are well and not suffering too much stress today!
I've had quite a quiet day but no doubt that will change in the near future. just have to wait and see i guess.!!
Think I will ring CCCS tomorrow for an update. I havent had any nasty letters or phonecalls as yet maybe everyone has just decided to go along with it and I am worrying for nothing, we can but dream!!!!

Hi Bluediamond
I spoke to CCCS on Friday and they said I didn't have to do anything with it just it wasn't in my interest to do it. I asked if I had to respond to HSBC and the lovely lady said "no" and that they would probably pass my debt to Metropolitan. All my huge  debt is with HSBC and they have not responded positively to CCCS all I've had is the managed loan stuff and a letter today asking me to call them (which I'm not I shall send the letter refering them to CCCS :T ) so still don't know where I stand. Really want to go for the charges they owe me (over £2,000  ) but scared to cause of the DMP - any advice anyone? Have written to Abbey asking for statements as thats an old account (closed) but huge charges on that too. I have been useless with money forever (hence the user name - love the abreviated idaas!). Sorry off thread abit there!! We're all in this together and love this new "club". Thanks for keeping me sane!
ps: I've changed my signature too yah!!I stopped smoking 25th June 2007STILL Never complacent but confidentMy debt is GOING DOWN!!!!0 -
hi all, How are you, had a better day and no phonecalls. although i had a statement from Next (who have accepted the plan) saying they need the payment by the 25th and they enclosed a payment slip! i think im just gona leave it, cause they will get there money!!!
As with the HSBC i would claimed charges back from them and screw them for every penny,as they have done with me and all of us!!!LOL! but i probly wouldn't take that advice!!
I did write to them the other day,and asked them not to add my charges on this month and out of 'goodwill' they didn't! But that is the only nice thing theyve done!!!!

Ex hope all is well with you - try and get a bit more sleep tonight. Tiredness makes everything ten times worse - easier said than done I know.
well done 95kelly excellent progress - really tempted to screw hsbc!!I stopped smoking 25th June 2007STILL Never complacent but confidentMy debt is GOING DOWN!!!!0 -
Evening everyone. Thought I'd better check in.
Nothing really to say other than thanks for all the support last night. :T Didn't hear from anyone today. I suppose the fact Barclays, Cahoot, Egg and GE aren't contacting me at all is probably a good thing? Argos confirmed on the phone they had accepted the DMP. Which leaves Next (have to come up with a nasty name for them :rotfl:) and Hellifax. In reality out of them all it's Hellifax I'm worried about. Barclays had written a letter saying they would suspend interest etc till 28 Feb, Cahoot and Egg had agreed to do nothing until they heard from CCCS. I suppose that is all good. Sorry I'm waffling over the same old stuff again.
I suppose I'm lucky that I don't have Lloyds, MBNA and HSBC who everyone else seems to have to deal with.
I haven't done anything about a new bank account. I fully planned to do that today on my day off but ended up involved in other stuff so it never happened.0 -
Have you got a number for CCCS, i gota add a debtand ask about the progress and all the stuff is in the BF's car!!!
