Thats why I have the phone numbers at the ready so I can call and explain and even offer switch payment instead. I tried phoning a couple of them today but of course they are on holiday so didn't bother trying the rest.

Apart from my gigs I live for the bank holidays and weekends. Not that my job's bad, but it's just so nice not having to be there.
And how lovely to live on the coast. I'll be retiring up north - got a friend lives in Morpeth - but doubt I'll be able to afford to live on the coast. Gotta get out of London tho!

Oh well to cheer ourselves up we took the kids and the dog for a run on the beach at St Andrews. There was quite a breeze going so we all came back with red cheeks. DS caught the sun a bit, his freckles are starting to show.

Joe You completely deserve your break in New York. If it was me, I would go. I hope everyone on here has encouraged you. As Teecee said, your DMP is up and running and everyones getting what they deserve so with that extra take yourself away:j (any room in the suitcase???)

scottish I completely forget Bank holidays too hun. When you dont work them and have a husband that has to work them anyway as he is emergency services they tend to get overlooked!! I hope you manage to sort the DD's out in time. Blimmin banks eh!!!!

Had a funny old day today. As I mentioned above, I forgot it was a public holiday today and was slightly miffed not to get any post. Anyone else get a little bit excited (in a strange way) about whats gonna come in the post? I look forward to hearing the letter box go now I'm on the DMP just to see who's agreed etc!!! Yes I am weird. The phones gone quiet too!!!:j

bad bad day...wages not gone in as bank holiday and will not go in till Tuesday..everything has gone t&*ts up in our house today !
