I'm halfway through reading Sea's thread but popped back to check how things were here. Yeah I agree Joek cancel. If it was one of yours they'll be in touch soon enough.
Now back to read the rest of Sea's thread. I didn't realise things had been so bad Sea lots of hugs from me.

No I'm still here - had justed popped along to another thread for a while. Might be heading off fairly soon though as my early night last night was ruined when DS woke up at 3.00am with earache. He eventually went back to sleep after a double dose of calpol and ibuprofen, a heat pack on his ear and about half an hour of unconsolable crying. Thank fully this morning all was better again.

Good morning everyone! Hope the start of Easter's being kind to you all.

    Now, onto more pressing concerns...

    Weeell... not really.

More of a moral dilema really.

It would be smashing if I could take a holiday this year back to my fave place - New York.

I don't know when it would be, and considering the last time I went there, I managed to bag a flight for under £250 return (and the place I stay in would be a similar price for about 5 or so nights), I could get a good deal, if I time it right.

The only reason I'm even considering it, is because this will be one of the few years that I may well be able to get a bonus for each month of the year (we're not talking much here - the odd £50 - £100 per pay packet...but every little helps).

The moral issues raise their heads though - really, I should plough all this money into paying back my debts, and by and large I have everything in place to do this.

But, I so rarely go anywhere or even get enthusiastic about holidays (I'm a bit of a workaholic really...), that I think it'll do me good.

The great thing about me and New York is that I know the place really well now. It's not much, but all told I've spent the best part of a month (in various trips) there, and I just walk all over the place. I know the cheap eats, and it's one of the few places in the world that I feel consistantly happy.

But, as ever...everything costs money. I wouldn't go until much later this year really, but should I do it, so early on in the DMP life?

It almost feels like a betrayal, but on the other hand why not?

Gods, I sound like a whining baby!!!

'Yays' or 'Nays' most welcome folks :)

    EDIT:

I'm living in a dream...thinking about it more and more...It's not gonna happen at the mo'. Suddenly things like emergency car repairs and stuff started blinking in front of me.

If I find myself with a spare £1000 (:D), then I'll go. Otherwise, maybe a quick trip to the Lake district!
