Morning all.
Yellowmonkey a TROLL is someone who tends to go on thread and make up a loads of rubbish or justs posts messages to have a go at people.
There is quite a few of the sad gits around on the boards some days.
Best way to deal with em is dont reply to their comments and click the report abuse button.
They soon disappear back under the rock they came from.Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
Hope everyone is ok this morning.
Thought i would add a few tips that i use to make my money go that bit further that may help some of you.
1-Once on a dmp doesnt mean you cant still save some money for treats ect, i do this by cutting back on allowances given me by dmp for certain things.Eg i am allowed money for haircuts but i cut my kids hair myself, i am allowed money for school dinners for the kids and an allowance for dinners at work for dh but they all take pack lunches. My shopping allowence is is huge, i spend no where near this amount.
2-Shopping is the one area i belive you can save most, start by keeping all you shopping recipits for a week or month and total it all up. Then after i had done this i set myself a challange to reduce this amount by £10 the week after.
3-Then i moved onto meal planning ( which now iv got the hang off saves me loads!!) I write a menu for the week head then write a shopping list of everything i need. I go shopping and only buy what is on the list, this is hard to do at first the only time i buy any extras are if they are reduced and i know i can use them in next weeks meal plan.
4-If you got kids hide all treats and biscuits crisps ect, i have a box under my bed where at the begining of week i put in enough stuff to do pack ups for week ( this way i dont run out as kids cant eat them all)
5-Bake, homebaking is fun and cheap, once you have all the basic ingredients in, it cost pence to make some yummy treats and puddings.
6-LISTS,LISTS,LISTS, Im really bad for lists i have them all over house but it helps keep you focused and on track, i have a list for bills that need paying and date they are due,a list of current debts and outstanding ballances, a list with due dates for mot, tax and insurance for the cars.
7-When you are feeling down look at your list of debt and then write down what your ballance will be each month after each payment has been made, i do this alot and just to see that in 3 month a debt will go down into the next hundred bracket makes you feel good.
8-When the post comes smile, open, read, take in whats said, then post off to dmp. Then forget.
9-Same with phone calls, answer, explain your with dmp, hang up forget.
10- Have a dream or goal for when you are debt free, mine is to go back to florida ( only this time not taking credit cards with me!!!), i have pictures around the house and folder on the pc with florida sites on it. When im feeling fed up i look at these a see myself there but with no money worrys.
11- Dont be worried about telling people you are on a dmp, head up high, you are dealing with you debts you should be proud!!!!
12-Have NSD These are no spend days, start off with just one and build it up, and no spend means nothing no petrol no milk anything.I try to have at least 4 a week now, and get everything i need on a monday then see how long i can go with out touching a penny.
May continue this list later if your not all boared to death by it !!!LOL
Have a great day everyone.Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -

Got a call yesterday from a 5 year old girl in Black Horse finance...she said "you havent paid us since January, wot going on then"? Professional to the end eh..:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I said I was with CCCS and she said you should have contacted us first, we could have done all they do for nothing.....obviously up on dmp's and who does them....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
and the best shot she fired....we may or may not accept your offer but may go for legal action instead! Worried me now!
MBNA want £20 a month more to save a default and selling my debt on with their final comment being..."YOU WILL NO LONGER BE A CUSTOMER OF MBNA"....there appears to be a God after all then?MBNA are a joke.
