As for claiming bank charge back you should sent a £10 cheque or postal order with the letter requesting statments upto 6 yrs ago.
Some send this back some dont.

Very well done on the 200...God knows what you have to do to get three now though. Although I suspect at the rate we're going at the mo', you'll be there fairly swiftly!

Just had a thought, maybe stars are like cheques - take longer to clear at weekends and bank holidays? Either that or you'll get it at 150.

Out of interest, which other threads do you follow? Is it just random, or are you a regular subscriber to particular ones? I never know where to start!

Actually, I just subscribe to this one, and then whirl about looking at other ones. I also pop into the current accounts forum on occasion too.

Anyway, I've decided that the two stars thing should be left as a suprise, so it's with that I'll post the 'special' one and sign off for the night I think (work tomorrow...sigh)...

Y'know what, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for being rather lovely and supportive - not just of me, but of everyone here. It's not called a Mutual Support thread for nothing.

There's been no nasty comments, just incredibly helpful advice, and whilst none of us are in the richest period of our lives financially, I can honestly say that it's been a damn rich period for talking to people in the same boat as me.

So I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
