Sealed Pot Challenge 5 ~ Part 2

Hi folks,
Apologies for having alarmed those of you who have already read the copy of the presumed scam alert which was on this post.
However, peaceandfreedom (below) has since given us a link to all the information about it, sadly, unknown to both sparky and I the scam has now been found to be outdated and from a 2008 version.
The scam did take place, but the original perpetrator has been found, bailed and, with luck, dealt with.
No need to worry, folks, but it just goes to show we're all capable of being duped - just as much as being caring too and not wishing others to become victims! In future though I think both sparky and I will be checking such e-mails first in future. If anyone else receives such e-mails, please check them out.
Many apologies.
Very many thanks, folks.

There is a new and clever credit card scam - be wary of those who come bearing gifts. Please circulate this. It just happened to friends a week or so ago in Guildford , and it can pretty well now be happening anywhere else in the world.
This scam warning is itself a hoax - it happened in Sydney in 2008 and there is nothing to suggest it has happened over here. See:

SusanneCape wrote: »Hi,
She is almost 9 weeks, but her doc has just told her she is to stop working immediately as she teaches English in a pre-school in Germany. They tested her blood for immunity against children's diseases and apparently she is at risk. She can go back and work once she is 20 weeks and medical aid will cover her salary in the meantime. I have no idea how she will cope as she is an energy ball!!
Oh goodness, that doesnt sound good. Hope she manages to keep herself occupied.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Thanks Sue. I go to the supermarket every day, so when I get home I will pop on here to tell you how much change I am potting!!!!!
On a more positive note we have now paid one third of our DMP off.....over £12,000 in just under 2 and a half years. I actually get a lump in my throat just thinking about it. Even if my OH hadn't lost his job, forcing us to face the debt head on, I don't think we would have paid anywhere near this amount off. It's a long road but we are getting there!!!!!
