Oh little sweetie, I'm so very sorry to hear about the bank nabbing your cash back, but as Ruth says, at least you know that it's safely in the bank! It is isn't it? I could say more, but I'll remain tactful. ;) BTW, next time you're in town grab a CP attendant and let him know about the machine, our lass got her's back.

I've got to agree with you, LC 2, I won't use hole's in the wall either, I'd be scared silly that someone would grab it from me - or that some thieving [STRIKE]swine[/STRIKE] person had a mirror inside to take all my details.

Ooooh I didn't think about grabbing an attendant, thanks Sue I might just do that :) Unfortunately, there wasn't one available at the time of course. Never there when you need one....

Regarding the hole in the wall, I don't really like using them either but at least this one is inside the bank so I do feel a bit safer. OH was supposed to be guarding me too and look what good that did! :rotfl::rotfl:Money still not in my account BTW....

    Welcome gobbygal!!

We are currently on the 5th year of SPC so yes indeedy there will be a 6th (Sue-UU our fearless leader would miss me and LC2 much to much not to run one :D) The new SPC starts on the 29th of November but you dont have to wait till then you can join right now, this very minute and Sue-UU will give you your very own one of a kind number and then ask 2 very small things of you.

    1) to pop your number into your signature as it helps Sparky the counter upper very much (if you dont know how to do this, go to the top of the page and on the first green bar is the words 'Quick Links' click that, select 'edit signature' type in it and click save :D

    2) please read the very first post on page 1 as it has lots of very interesting and important information in it about how this whole challenge works.

Should you decide to bank or remove any money from your sealed pot through out the year Sparky likes it if you pop the amount in your signature next to your number so it doesnt get missed off the total on count up day :)

Now go find anything at all you can put money in (and preferably seal!) nd get going! dont forget to keep your eyes peeled when out and about for 'roadkill' i.e other peoples dropped money, we love it here, nowt better than potting someone elses discarded pennies :rotfl: though partners money is also well loved too :D:D

Sue good to see you're still keeping everyone in line! BTW the c*instar machines are now a 10% rip off

Flippin heck, sparky what a rip-off!!!!! So pleased you saw my note and shouted out. You already for Thursday? Not sure I am :rotfl: It'll be busy this time for sure...but oh so worth it! Not too long now before you and J will be jetting off to Chicago & New York!!! :j:j
Just popping in as I've not been about much of this year.

Sue - Is there another thread for 2013 yet?

Haven't saved 'that' much in my pot despite adding to it every day but I'm fairly pleased with what is in there so far...might have to roll it over to next year but will see how it goes.

Hi there, Purplemumof2, lovely to see you! Mmmm, not sure about next year  Will need to give it some thought; ok, have done and YES there will be an SPC 6!!! :j Re your savings - you just please yourself whether you roll it over or not. I won't be using mine for Christmas as we're saving for next year's holiday. I'll still count it all and include it in this year's total and possibly pop it in our savings then start over again on the 30th.

As it's nearing time to crack open the pot I have been feeling slightly sad about it.... so I went to buy a new tin as a replacement... and bought exactly the same one! how silly am I being sentimental about a money pot!!
Excited to find out how much I can spend now on my wedding dress!! :D

Hiya lozzy!!! No, you're not silly at all, if it gives you a real buzz then just feel oh so very happy at what you're doing, all the best for the wedding dress! :j for him too

Helloo to you too, Callie!!! It really is so lovely to see folk coming back and getting excited! :j

Well done, nu1isit?, it all helps. Hope the painting's going well and no little hands in or on it! :D
Ooooh I didn't think about grabbing an attendant, thanks Sue I might just do that :) Unfortunately, there wasn't one available at the time of course.

Re the CP attendant, little_sweetie, I doubt you'll be the only one collaring hm - that's partly what they're there for. Ah...not so band with an inner hole in the wall then, even so I'd be sceptical, but then that's just me playing chicken. :(

Don't worry, Oops, that's one thing I love about this thread, it's like one HUGE family, all caring so much for each other. :grinheart

Found 20p in hubby's trousers last night....it's not there now!! :j

WOW, jakes-mum, that welcome's almost civil - for you! ;) Thanks. You must deserve a gold star :staradmin

Don't forget your bags, everyone, and please DON'T use co!nstar to change your cash! They take about 10% (yes....TEN ) of YOUR MONEY!!!!

Have a really lovely weekend, folks, enjoy it all, but......
......Keep saving well........only 6 more saving days to go!

I've also got my replacement pot for SPC6 ready and waiting for November 30th to start all over again :D

What would we do without you? Inspiring us to gear up for SPC6.

Am I allowed to keep my pot going as it is only half-full? It is ceramic and I would have to smash it to get to the cash. I did try prying it out, but to no avail . I think jakes-mum has some special tools to get it out, can I borrow those please?? I have been pretty good at updating my total so should be more or less spot on, give or take a couple of pennies!:T

Oh Emily, so sorry you got side-tracked, but of course you're allowed another LBM. Keep going with it from now on, but all I'd ask is that you come to the thread more often as the encouragement you get here really does entice you to want to save.

YOU can do it, Emily..as you'll prove next year! ;)

Of course you can keep it going, Susanne. You can count what you've saved already in with this year's on Thursday or just let it roll over. The choice is yours.
