Problems accessing Barclays online bank

At long last. A notice on the web site:;
"Unfortunately, we're currently experiencing technical problems in Online Banking, and some of our customers are having difficulty logging in to the service. We are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause and ask that you try logging in again later if you are affected."

However, I fear that it must be ALL customers and not some customers who are having difficulty.

I use online roughly every hour of every weekday to check company payments etc.... the only days I get a problem are on Payday (nearly every month out of the last 9 months) . It's got so bad that I have had to email my staff with this website to prove that it is NOT ME who is trying to delay payment of wages...!

Are they going to pay my parking costs for going into town to get the wages sorted today. Was there an apology to the massive queue building up behind me giving me FILTHY LOOKS whilst I took an hour to get them sorted at the counter???.... all these questions and more....

Barlays bank have changed there on line banking , it has gone totaly pearshaped , i thought the banks were supposed to be helping small businesses but they keep on screwing them . good luck with trying to get through to customer services , hope they are going to refund the £300 they charge me per month just for banking with them !!

Have finally managed to get into barclays so called online banking!! after all that.....what a load of rubbish!

I couldn't help it - I phoned them again about to be told the problem is aggravated due to the number of people trying to access the website!! (doh!).

I'm lucky in that I set the wages up on Wednesday so I can tell from the statement they have been paid (I could see statements (eventually) but couldn't make payments to Barclaycard) - but this is a big problem for any small business, could be an issue for people paying corporation tax today as well - and do you know what? reckon Barclays will tell you if you had set the payments up earlier there wouldn't be a problem, but why you should have to do that? Last day for VAT is Friday next week by payments by Faster Banking - any bets on whether it's fixed in time??

i am sure i'm being dumb but....

since the "update" how do you login without using pin sentry?

on the login page it says:

I don't have my PINsentry. If you don't have your PINsentry you can either:

Log in with your 5-digit passcode and memorable word

but how?

after putting in my surname i have tried each of the other "id" methods but everyone of them then asks for pin sentry info and i dont get any other option.

Once you have logged in with pinsentry there is an option you can check to allow log in without it.
