Glad it is not just me! I too liked the old site, but prepared to give it a go if it would only load. At one stage I got to the payments page only to find that my existing payees had been deleted along with all their sort codes and account numbers - please say I don't have to enter them all again! A carrrier pigeon would be quicker. :eek:0

Hi all - it's a small consolation that i see so many other people are having the same problems i'm having trying to get into Barclays online this morning as i was thinking it was just me and my pc but i am really fed up with the situation to say the least.
every page in the transaction takes an age to load, some boxes won't let you type numbers in.
After about 30-45 minutes i now see that it has managed to log me in but i can't get any further at the moment!
and the sun is blazing outside as it has been all week while i've been stuck in work and unable to enjoy it!:(0 -

No its not you. Seem everyone is having problems.
Tried logging in last night and today. What a load of rubbish this new system is! There was nothing wrong with it before. If it ain't broke don't fix it - well it is broke now. What the hell are they doing! Need to get access but wont bother calling as it sounds as though the advisors have been instructed to deny knowledge. I will have to make a special trip to the bank in person. How bad is this!!0 -
I am still struggling to log in, according to bbc website its less than 10% of barclays customers having issues.....I am in that 10%!!
I now can't even get the page up to enter membership details.
I have lost count now how many times I have tried to log in since 8.40.....0 -
Needed to do wages for a small charity I am involved with today. Got fed-up of waiting for Barclays online site to eventually log-in and then not load the account summary page, so went to local branch.
The counter staff were not too happy about having to manually process 13 payments :mad: , but reluctantly did when we told them it was peoples wages!
As somebody said earlier, why is it always the month end when their site bogs-up?0 -

If they had any consideration for their customers they would have "pulled" the new site when it proved it was flawed and at least allowed people time to transact their businesses. Any number of things can go wrong which is why extensive testing is peformed before going live, but, things slip through the net. Professionals know how to manage these sitautions to minimise further service impact and still allow problem rsolution. Clearly Barclays either have either no concern for customers, incompetent technical staff, or a mixture ...0 -
In the last four logins I've had this loading problem twice, like everyone said, cannot believe the bank were stupid enough to relaunch the site for the end of the financial year never mind the end of the month. If some businesses can't process BACS like johnsmiffy it must be a serious problem! It's also a major wind-up having that stupid survey pop up every single time you log out.
Overnight, if they're not trying to fix the site with a closure then I've have no problems at all. During the day it's probably even slower from all the repeated login attempts, until the whole thing collapses. Got all my credit card payments finished in the end.0 -
I have two business accounts and two personal accounts with Barclays.
I lost access on the 21st March. Barclays sent me a letter of apology dated 22nd March admitting access lost through a system error on their part and that my access will be restored soon.
It is now the 30th and still no online access. (I have been given a special number to ring for banking access via telephone but it is a long and slow process). Today is the last business day to make a Corporation Tax repayment but this can not be made via the Barclays telephone service as no previous payments made.
I have spent a tremendous amount of time on the phone to them going through security and none of the 'advisers' know anything about a general problem. I am now being chased by suppliers for payment and as yet they don't believe me when I tell them and just think it is an excuse for non-payment.
When will Barclays own up to the problem?0 -
I don't have Barclays account but my brother was trying to access and couldn't logged in to the website. It was redirecting to the another page. He wanted to make some urgent transactions if anyone has other idea then please share. He is not able visit branch.0

JUST managed to check balances and transfer funds between my accounts...... very slowly!!!!!!!!!! :j ...but still grr... :mad:0
