Problems accessing Barclays online bank

Can anyone confirm that Barclays online banking service is inacessible and under maintenance as this has been going on for the best part of this week with a message extending the date to another day. The reason I ask is because when I queried over the telephone, the advisor said she wasn't aware of any such issues. Have I been strucked by the 'Man in the browser' trojan giving for false messages? Many thanks!

Thanks, How do I access the old one? All the links I've tried have taken me to the log-in with the maintenance sign emblazoned on it. Also, dodgyly slow to load up.0

It looks like you can't use the old version anymore and are instead stuck with the godawful new one. It's sort of working for me, but it's incredibly slow and errors if you try to do any type of search or anything more complicated than just looking at your accounts.0

It worked for me the other day, but it took a bit of time to get login but think they may have been updating the site, not sure I like the new look site, the old one was ok as it was.0

Really slow loading for me.
I actually stopped using the account due to the bloody stupidity of having to use a card reader (or typing in a couple of hundred digits from my card) everytime I just wanted to login.0 -
I quite like Barclays new website. Find it much easier to use. However, it has just taken me an age to log on - must be a busy site.
On a side issue has anyone used the new ping it service? If si is it any good.Grab life by the balls before it grabs you by the neck.0 -

Moved to new look this week, hasn't stopped bugging since. As I type this, I have been waiting for the front page to load at Step 1, with just a blank screen, extremely frustrating, today is payday, I need to pay my bills!
The times where I have been able to access it, I have problems seeing the current transactions screen, I get variations on the "ooops" theme, and generally speaking I hate it. It's especially frustrating as they haven't done anything to improve the navigation or access, it's barely more than a cosmetic exercise, moving a frame here instead of there and adding little icons in front of your account name and matching frames around the boxes. Grrrr.

I am having the same problems with online banking and it's driving me mad - I've got 7 payroll payments to make and managed 3 in an hour. And haven't been able to access transaction history for 48 hours. How am I supposed to run a business with a rubbish system like this? Grrrrrr!!!0

I have been attempting to log in for the last hour, I have VAT / wages to pay which should take no longer than 10 minutes!!
Soooooooo annoying!! Why did they pick the last day of the month to redesign!! Numpties....0
