Hi Tammy - wow amazing on the car boot sales :T(and on such a horrible day too). Can't believe that people steal stuff from car boot sales (or anywhere tbh), but car boot sales - I mean, what the f...? Some people never cease to amaze me

Think you should have 2 cats, it's company for each other then when you are not there. Have always had 2 (sometimes more) and wouldn't be without my furry children for the world;)

Look forward to hearing more adventures from Tumbledown Cottage:D
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying!:rotfl:

:j:j:j:jYep FrugalLina I have a putty cat, one fat white one with black spots all over him with a black eye and four black feet so Ive called him Domino:T and he has massive whiskers and purrs like a roaring engine..wwooopp hooray, now just hope the Cat Lady thats coming to check me out likes me and my new pad, then hes mine, thay dont half check you out but dont blame them.
Even had to get a letter from Landlord saying he allowed a pet, I bet that poor bloke thinks Im stalking him:D:D.

So had a mooch round local cheapo pet shop, they have a lovley black and white spotted cat bed,,,, lets just wait till he sets his paws in my home first, hope he settles in ok, there are no cats round by me, just lots of old ladies with poodles so hope hes not a dog hater :rotfl::rotfl:,

I am borrowing my sisters camera tommorow so will post some pics of Domino ooh love the name...

Tumbledowns been given a good old clean, need a couple of days more with me and my trusty paintbrush, Im totally skint till Friday, have paid Landlord my deposit and first months rent and now have the signed tenancy agreeement in my hands :D:D so roll on the 1st May.

I am going to collect my sofa and chair tommorow from kind F:Dreecycler and need to just look out for a washing machine and fridge now,,,it never ends does it, still its all for a worthwhile cause...

Im doing most of this myself, and have surprised myself, the old me is returning but Ive left the bad bits of me behind too.

Im off to bed now, Im happily tired, so till tommorow peeps good night.

    T:D
Now fingers crossed there's a big black and white cat with massive whiskers out there looking for a forever home with a batty dumpy lady :A yep there is, found him Domino big fat huge whiskered purring machine that's taken over my house life and heart, life's good, as I pander to the whims of my new lodger..:rotfl::rotfl::D:D:p

    Hi TT

I normally lurk a lot on various threads/diaries but wanted to pop in and say well done you. You're inspiring.

We've been intending to sell up and relocate to the coast for aaaages but I keep putting it off for various reasons. Reading your diary over the past couple of days had me running for the online house-search websites. Having spoken with my OH yesterday we now have a bonefide 6-18 month plan for sprucing our house up and moving! Believe me, a 6-18 month plan for us is the same as a 3 month plan for anyone else!!!!

Thanks again - have subscribed for ease of lurking :)

TT Tammy, how lovely about domino - he sounds purrfect (sorry, hangs head in shame)!

I am so glad you are doing so well getting the house in order ready for moving in - you sound like some kind of dynamo (do you have a magic wand or something).

So looking forward to seeing pictures, I can hardly wait!

Your thread makes me so happy!

How is it going, Tammy - are you up to your eyeballs in paint and cleaning up a storm?

Only days now until you move in, bet you can hardly wait!
