Are you saying now Malware is not same as % of apps / Users on all os and I may have made a mistake, the Android OS do have higher malware rate?
You have misquoted earlier and not answered questions put to you by many posters, so what makes you think your question is worth answering? The answer is irrelevant, only you worry about malware, nobody else is losing sleep over it.0 -

The Google Play and some parts of API are control by Google even to the point of version numbers and product release.
How come Amazon App Store is able to pre check apps but not Google Play.
Your other points are also useless and not true in ref to malware.
Think before you write. Rather then being Android Fanboy trying to make it look like I am bright, why don't you check your facts. I don't think you know much about IT otherwise you would have known what parts on Android are open and which ones are closed.
It is an open system in comparison to the way the Apple App Store is run.
I also pointed out in that other thread a number of inaccuracies in your assumptions on malware, you skipped past cause the facts were inconvenient to you. There was nothing untrue about malware in my previous post, you should research these things. I've worked in the field for some time and don't need to check the facts, I'm one of the guys who researches this then puts the facts out there for morons like you to read, so go read them.
Oh, I'm not an Android fanboy as it goes, if anything I'd be considered an Apple fanboy I guess seeing how I only have 1 Android device in the house compared to multiple Apple devices.
Shouting Android fanboy at anyone who disagrees with you doesn't automatically make you right.
ETA: Here, do your research.

Thanks Mista_C long time readers of this post will have picked up that The Goodman is not remotely interested in the facts and prefers to post only skewed stats or assumed negatives .
Sadly this just makes a nonsense of this thread and the rather stupid IOS v Android debate . One operating system on one locked down handset versus one OS on multiple price point handsets .Both are valid OS in the year 2012 and users should be looking at what suits their needs not the underlying OS .
Do i think Android is perfect no likewise IOS Windows and the rest .

Exactly, anyone who does think any of them are totally secure is naively fooling themselves. I use both iOS and Android based devices, and each serve their own purpose for me.
To declare any technology with network capability to be 100% secure is a complete nonsense.
I'm just waiting for TGM to come back and comment on that last link being the work of Android fanboys. Damn Apple employing Android fanboys.0 -
Note he did not bother to post Apple store hit by malware this week.
Plus his claims that because IOS or Windows have been ported they are open source is ridiculous .
I am on a developers forum and over three years i have yet to see any post where a user has been affected by malware nor any user reporting that they have a friend who has got malware from the Google store .But that does not mean malware is not about on every OS .

What poll do you think we should have next?
Recommendations welcome, thanks.0 -

No need to vote, a great vote would be "should the iDiot catch up with reality?" but irrespective of the already known results, it won't make any difference, you will always be an iDiot and spout rubbish and probably elsewhere0 -
