Android/IOs is also used on Tablets/Ipads etc so not really a mobile exclusive problem

and I am a Board Guide (not a moderator) , there is a seperate forumteam (not a moderator team) who deal with anything outside the Board guide remit

Narly all reported problems are with the mobile Android OS due to most tablets are used over Wifi so unable to make calls or send text.

I think you need to grow up. Unlike fanboys as soon as I see some thing I dont like to read I dont run to moderators to remove or lock threads like a little child . If you cant take the heat dont use the open forum.

Not one of you have been able to answer a simple question. I will make it easy for you so you only need to post A, B or C

If all OS have the malware then download numbers per OS should be the same, as a % of total users unless

    A. Android OS have more malware then other OS

    B. Its users are not so ......

    C. I use other OS such as IOS and Windows Phone.

Which one would you say is correct?
    Just post A, B or C

It is you that needs to grow up, just because everybody is not panicing about malware . As soon as anybody chooses to buy a non apple product, you throw your toys out of the pram.
It does not matter that Android has more malware, since nobody seems to be affected by it, you know that as you have android devices. More people die on the road than in air traffic accidents, does that mean everybody should not use the roads?

Nothing wrong with the Android as an OS. The problem is the way things are done on ii. How can Googel Play have malware apps?

How can Apple market have malware .

Kaspersky Lab said MegaFon, a major mobile carrier in Russia, contacted the security firm about a suspicious application found in both the Apple App Store and Google Play. The firm's analysis of the iOS and Android versions of the same application showed that it's not an SMS worm but a Trojan that uploads a user's phonebook to a remote server.

A malicious app has found its way onto the Apple iOS App Store for iPhone and iPad.

If the safety device that means that an iPhone cannot get malware is the Apple Store for apps then that safety’s not worth all that much if malware manages to get through the Apple Store.

change that to road = Android and air = iOS or Wndows Phone

    You will have the answer

Some might say this problem is with all mobile OS in this case I will ask them one question

Which one would you say is correct?

With the Amazon store coming soon which pre check apps for malware I hope Goole Play will start to do the same

    .

As said the answer to your question is that it does not matter which has more, go and explain that to someone who has lost a loved one in an air traffic incident, when air travel is safer than the roads.

In many posts you have said that malware apps are same in numbers on all os. If this is the case why not answer the question

Show us just one post where I have typed the gibberish you have accused. The rest of your post then is not worth reading, If you have an apple app and have been affected by malware, it is of no comfort that other OS may have more chances , because those using the devices that are as you put it more risky, have not been affected by the malware, it has already been explained to you why apps require certain permissions, it is nothing to do with being malicious.

Apples ios isnt that secure (for developers) is it goodman: http://m.theregister.co.uk/2012/07/13/apple_ios_hack/

The quote of the hacker even sounds like goodman.

Apple as usual silent on the matter.

And hence why tgm thinks malware is less prevalant on his beloved favourite, I must confess he mentions he has an S3 more than he mentions his ip4 ;)
